Title: Basic Combat training

Anakin - January 10, 2007 04:40 PM (GMT)
Basic Combat training is taught to every Clone Trooper at first. Everybody has to start somewhere. This holds fighting with blasters, light and heavy ones. Fighting with melee weapons and other combat arts. Firstly you are trained in using light blasters which laters evolves in training to more heavy ones.

Training in Melee weapons is short as Clone Troopers mostly use blasters. Other combat is taught in situations when you lose your weapon.

[TK 987]

"For all of you here, today is your last for basic combat training. After this VR mission, you will all be put into specialty training based on your previously determined specialities. Everyone get into the VR 'pods'."

TK 987 got into a virtual reality "pod" and attached his training armor to the corresponding wires. He then put on the VR helmet and could see the type of world he was in. It was some sort of cave and there were time bombs being placed on a steel wall. Everyone was equiped with a blaster rifle, a blaster pistol, a thermal detonator, and a bacta tank. The VSSs (Virtually Simulated Saboteurs) told everyone to step back because the timers had just been set. 15 seconds later, the steel wall came down and the troopers charged into the rebellion asteroid base.

The group spilt up, team rho going left and team phi going right. TK 987 went left, which was a hallway with a flight of stairs at the end. Rho team went up the stairs and eliminated a couple of rebels along the way. At the top was a sub-hanger, with several rebels and an alliance AAC-1. Laser blasts filled the room, but the rebels were fighting a losing battle. Three of the rebels were getting into the AAC, but TK 987 was able to get two of them, leaving only the driver to escape the hanger onto the surface of the asteroid. Team rho now occupied the sub-hanger, but rebels were coming in from the hallway and stairs. TK 987 killed two, reloaded, and killed two more. He was taking heavy damage, so he administered a bacta tank to his wounds while another trooper watched his back. Once his wounds were healed, he was ready to move out.

[TK 987]

Heading down the hallway, TK 987 shoots at a group of rebels and manages to kill them all. He then gets a sharp pain in the back of his leg and tried running around the corner as quickly as he can to get away from the rebels attacking him from behind. Hiding in a side room, he reloads and fires at the three rebels who followed him. Continuing down the halls, TK 987 comes across a group of rebels in a room who seem to have not noticed the battle going on, yet. Is this a trick? Has TK 987 gotten completely off course and come across an area of the base that isn’t a part of this VR mission yet? He peaked inside to discover that these rebels were actually just getting ready for battle. They were taking blasters off the walls and putting on light armor that was hanging off the walls. TK 987 placed a thermal detonator on the ground and gently rolled it into the room. As soon as he had gotten 10 feet away, a large explosion could be heard from behind him. He didn’t hear any movement afterwards, so he continued heading to the first enemy command post.

The enemy CP was surrounded by rebels. Rho team and some of phi team were there, trying to scrape away the rebel scum. One of the rebels had thrown a thermal detonator at the troopers and bodies went flying. TK 987 had to get the burning corpse of a fellow trooper off of him before he could return fire.
“There’s too many of them!”
”Watch your flank!”
The rebels finally retreated and the CP was captured. It was the first taste of victory for the day, but for some troopers it would be the last.

Egone was in the live ammo training room. It was a large room with hills, plains, and bunkers. Today was one of the only few days they actually shot at targets. Egone as usual, was depressed and was missing a lot of shots. Ever since Fit went to emergency care, he was worried about him. He knew some of the medics, and they let him in sometimes to see him, but the past week was different. He hadn’t seen Fit in a while.

After the exercise, he went back to his room.

It wasn't long until he was called back to do some training.
Deadly training. He suited up, and went to the live ammo room.
There was an uneasy silence in the room, which was usualy filled with noise. Then he saw Lama Su. They were told that these next few training sessions were the hardest because we were soon going to be training to go to war. There would be a few more classes, and then they would chose their class.

[TK 987]

On the bridge, TK 987 charged head on, blasting at any rebel in his way. Without a moment of hesitation or losing his step, he reloads his blaster rifle and kills the last of his enemies that occupied this connecting passageway. Realizing that he’s badly injured, TK 987 uses a bacta tank on the floor that was never used by the rebel clutching onto it. With his wounds healed, he presses on, only to confront more enemies in one spot than he had ever seen in an in-door simulation. It was a large circular room full of rebels surrounding the second enemy CP in the center. TK 987 ran back to the bridge, shut the door, and blasted the control panel next to it hoping that the door would stay closed long enough for him to devise a plan. No other troopers were coming through from the other end of the bridge; they must have all taken a different route. He didn’t hear any blasting on the other side of the doorway, so he must be the closest trooper to the second enemy CP. As he heard the rebels cutting away at the door with their fusion cutters, TK 987 searched the bodies of the rebels he had just killed. The only things he could find were blaster ammo, a couple of broken bacta tanks, and a time bomb. This wouldn’t be enough to face the rebels head on, but he wasn’t just going to retreat, either. Placing the time bomb on the closest window to the door, he set it for 3 seconds and ran away as fast as he could. The time bomb blasted the window apart, as well as the door open, and sucked the rebel engineers that were working on the door out into space, along with TK 987 and several of the dead bodies in the bridge.

The rebel engineers didn’t last very long in the emptiness of space, but TK 987’s armor kept his body stable and filled his lungs with enough air to last him for a couple of minutes. The surface of the asteroid was hectic. Enemy and ally AACs fought their own battle with missiles and blaster cannons. Wanting not to get involved with this conflict while also being in dire need of oxygen, TK 987 headed for the closest sub-hanger entrance he could see. The sub-hanger was empty, except for a lone rebel at the doorway with his back to TK 987. TK 987 crept quietly up to the rebel, activated the thermal detonator on his belt, and hid behind a couple of barrels where he couldn’t be seen if the rebel turned around, but where TK 987 could get a good view of the adjacent room. TK 987 could see that this sub-hangar was connected to the main enemy hangar, where the third enemy CP was located. There were only five rebels in the hangar: four surrounding the CP and the one at the door to the sub-hangar. TK 987 needed the one with the activated thermal detonator to get to the other rebels, but how? He found a small scrap of metal on the ground and threw it at one of the rebels at the CP. An argument broke out between the one hit by the metal scrap and the one with the thermal detonator, and eventually there was a fist fight between the two with the others surrounding them. TK 987 got his blaster pistol out and waited for the perfect shot. With the activated thermal detonator in view, he used the scope on the blaster pistol to shoot directly at it. None of the rebels in the hangar survived the blast, and TK 987 claimed the third CP for the Empire.

“Time’s up.”

The final exam was over, and everyone who was still “alive” took their helmets off and stepped out of the VR pods. Those who had been killed were already out, waiting anxiously to see the top ten scores:

TK 425 – 8
TK 535 – 8
TK 987 – 7
TK 992 – 5
TK 997 – 4
TK 493 – 4
TK 929 – 4

[Shock Trooper Training]

Anakin - February 3, 2007 08:46 PM (GMT)
The Prime-Minister took a visit to the Clone training facility. Lamu Su and his servant Taun We were overlooking the clones' training. By the records the efforts of some of the clones were very impressive and showed extraordinary abilities.

"Can you see TK-825 status? It's remarkable...and look at TK-987. The reports show some special capabilities. If he keeps up with this, I want you to move him to the next level. Grant him the training he wants. What training would you give him?"

His servant responded: "Shock Trooper maybe, sir...a Storm Assassin?"

The Prime-Minister reacted on her response: "We'll see...it will depend on his future efforts. Then we'll decide what training suits him best. Keep an eye on him."

the squirrel - February 4, 2007 03:14 AM (GMT)
Today was a special day. They didn't have to go into real combat situations! Lama Su said that they were losing clones to fast, so they were going to be doing vr training. When he got to the vr room, everyone there was unsure of what to do. He walked up to the pod and looked at it. "Get in." a commanding voice said from an intercom."Well, what are you waiting for?" Reluctantly, they got into the pod. "Now relaxe, while the vr takes over. None of you will be killed like in your previous excercises.

Egone was suddenly transported into a world that looked just like the plains type training room. He looked himself over. His armor was blue, and so was the clones around him."There are two teams."The voice said."Blue, and red. Your objective is to kill the other color team. The excercise ends when one team is destroyed."Egone understood. He raised his blaster."GO!"

Egone started running, his heart pounding like it did in real combat. There was already a wave of blaster fire coming from both sides. He looked to his right, and a blue trooper got hit. He suddenly disinigrated.Ok, so when you get hit, your out of the vr. Nice.
He started firing at the other team.

RayCaptain - February 26, 2007 11:27 PM (GMT)
This was his first day in this rugged training and a bulky suit. As Ray entered the VR field he kept low because most clones didn't like an outsider in the mix. Well he had never been 'liked' so he blasted away with little help from allies. After a little while climbed a tree and shot there until a rebel spotted him and he slid down the tree and hid.

"Come get me scum-bag!" Ray called out.

The rebel ran up on the opposite side of Ray and they locked into a melee fight, this was Ray's specialty. After a while Ray was the victor but he was shot in the leg by another rebel. After he crawled behind a rock he stayed until the game ended. He got out and read the top ten scores.

TK 425 - 9
TK 535 - 8
TK 911 - 8
TK 987 - 7
TK 997 - 6
TK 493 - 6
TK 907 - 5
Ray C. - 5
TK 778 - 5
TK 697 - 4
TK 381 - 3

Well it wasn't the best but it was alright.

RayCaptain - February 27, 2007 09:42 PM (GMT)
It had been some tough fights but Ray was getting the hang of it and the clones were being nicer to him. He'd made some friends,Roxas and Faaron, but Faaron was one who had a problem with Darth Vader.

"Ready for another day Ray?" it had been the first words out of Roxas' mouth since Faaron was killed.

"Well I geuss but I'm not feeling to good today...you know...with Vader here," Ray was still trying to plan a small revfenge but common since told him no.

They got into the VR pod and they weren't in a forest this time..they were in a desert. It was hot and an unforgiving place. A few clones were shot immediantly and ray was damaged by an explosion.

As Roxas drug Ray over to a stop that was safer Ray called out, "Just once I would like to make it through without being hurt!"

After a while Ray got up and was off towards the objective,a field of AA guns. You couldn't chrge the field head on because of a line of tanks so you had to flank it. So the commander gave quick orders.

"You guys go left, the rest of you go right!" The commander was reckless and didn't think of the hill on the left.

When Ray and his squad got to the right he looked up just in time to see a few sniper shots be fired and most of the left flank was down. Ray and Roxas covered the shock troopers as they blew up the AA guns. When they got out of the VR pod and saw the scores they were amazed at such high scores!

TK 425 - 16
Ray C. - 13
TK 911 - 11
TK 468 - 10
TK 364 - 10
TK 997 - 9
TK 947 - 8
TK 907 - 8
TK 778 - 7
TK 697 - 6
TK 381 - 6

"Ha ha! You did it Ray!" Roxas slapped Ray on the back and they exited the Basic Training area.

the squirrel - February 28, 2007 02:21 AM (GMT)
Egone fired at the enemy. It was so much eisier than the real combat.
He sprayed the area with fire. His helmet suddenly said Seven
"Well, thats nice" he said to himself. A group of troopers were gathering to charge, so he grouped with them. "CHARGE!" someone yelled. They ran as fast as they could toward the other team.

Egone just held in the triger. Eight. Nine. Ten.Then the whistle blew. "Good job team blue! You win!" said the voice. He was suddenly out of the vr and he went to look at the scores.

KF-830 13
KF-194 11
KF-364 10
KF-792 7

And so on. So. He thought. I got third place. Not a bad days work."Dismissed!" yelled the big voice.
Egone walked toward his room. It was a good day.

RayCaptain - February 28, 2007 09:21 PM (GMT)
This time it wasn't going to be any fun what so ever because now they were having to use only their secondary weapons while the rebels were suited with newer technology. As Ray thought it was a complete slaughter on the clone's side. It was bad but Ray kept thinking of the words Vader had said.

"Your score does not interest me!"

Ray tightened his grip on the gun and and shot, killing a rebel.

"trooper"

Ray shook his head...he wasn't just a trooper...he was more. He shot two more rebels.

"-loyalty to the Emperor"

Ray disaproved of the Emperor. One more rebel down. Roxas came behind ray and shot a rebel.

"Thanks Roxas I owe you one." they held their position and blasted at rebels "Do you think I'm more than a trooper?"

Roxas started to answer but was shot and he dissapeared from the VR field. Ray whipped around and had a shoot-out with the rebel and won. After the battle was won Ray got out to see the scores

RayCaptain - March 1, 2007 06:06 PM (GMT)
Ray stood there with his jaw haging open. He couldn't believe what the sighn said...Live Ammo Training Room. This was bad..really bad..Ray didn't need to die on Kamino.

"Well Roxas,as long as we're on the same team I'm ok,"

Ray smiled but it quickly faded when Roxas's words came out.

"That's just it Ray...we're not on the same team!" Roxas was shaking.

They entered the room and went to their sides of the field. The buzzer went off and Ray went with his group. After a few shots were fired it was clear to Ray that Roxas would have to be killed. So Ray snuck off by himself and found a small enemy team. He caught them by suprise and killed them with ease. He went on to shoot some more men. Then it happened he walked right up behind Roxas. In that moment he knew it had to be done so he stuck his gun behind Roxas's head and fired. A few seconds after that the buzzer rang. Ray's side had won but it didn't feel like it. From that moment on Ray would have no friends.

RayCaptain - March 2, 2007 05:12 PM (GMT)
After the day of Live Ammo Training Ray was not at the top of his game...He only scored top 10 once until today. Today was a special day. Today was the day they were tested for their class of trooper. Ray had meditated on this for a while but to no prevail.

They entered the training room and went to the VR pods. They appeared on a planet of ice and wind. It was terriable but the hate Ray felt was hotter than the ground was cold. So he started across the ground but he didn't do very well...The rebels were just not wanting to die today. An alarm told him he had one minute left but Ray heard no alarm,no he heard his mother's cries as she was killed by thieves. After this point in time Ray went on a kamakasi charge and shot everything that was not a clone. As his eyes filled with tears he shot more and more. The sensation of his gun shaking,as the shots wrung out across the landscape, was overpowering. After the fight was over Ray got out and looked at the scores.

the squirrel - March 4, 2007 03:51 AM (GMT)
It was class determination day.
Egone got into the pod and thought. He knew that most of the 14th would be infantry soldiers because of there basic reservence in the front.(Set, he learned, by the old 14th. Which was all but decimated)
So he didn't feel that excited. He would probably get basic trooper. Which he didn't mind. He had seen so much death already he didn't care.

He was then in a virtual world. Unlike any he had ever seen. This was a large open plain of sand with many small boulders. "Welcome to the Tatooine training sim. The first of three sims you will do in the class determination sequence. Next will come the Hoth sim. Then the Naboo sim. You are recieving letters to your rooms now. They will inform you more about this issue."

The buzzer rang and the teams charged. Egone found a boulder and got behind it before setting up his gun. He looked to his right, and he saw something that just brightend his day. His friends Axe, Blake, and Fit were right beside him. He hadn't seen them since Fit was hit in the live ammo room. "Your alive!" he screamed. All that did was attract fire. He ducked down as tons of fire blasted at him.

"We'll have the reunion later." Axe said. "Lets kill some noobs!" He ran out and charged, and Fit and Blake followed. As Egone ran and fired, one thing went through his mind. What the hell's a noob?
They came to a squad of reds and eliminated them. Then repeated the proces over about 10 times. Then when they finished he got out and looked at the scores.

Top Five
KF-935 17
KF-016 15
KF-555 12
KF-945 11
KF-832 7

KF-935? That's Axe! He's the only one of us up there!
Egone walked back to his room, wondering if they would be separated.

Christopher Enyar - March 4, 2007 08:33 PM (GMT)
Chris had spent only a small bit of time on the planet. It had been a few months of training and he had learned to use his skills as needed. In the first couple of days he had tried the old fashion style of aim and fire along with the rest of his temporary squads. They mostly failed like that. He started to learn that being stealthy and wacking his enemies with his weapon when they were not looking was better then blindly going into battle with the blaster blazing.
He never bothered to learn the names of those he worked with. He had no sense of friendship, and therefore kept to himself and thought of his own future in this place. He had looked into the careers for troops and decided that if he had a choice, he would go for Storm Assassin. They seemed to suit his own personal style better then the other classes. They were fast, stealthy, cunning, and used melee attacks mostly. He was rather good at all these things.
The VR training session started and Chris went into virtual combat. His team moved in a group, but Chris went into the shadows and stood away from them. Those who went in tight formations usually got shot at first in these simulations. Chris staid back and waited. He heard a shot and looked at the enemy that made it. He fired his weapon, getting a quick head shot. A second enemy came up from behind and Chris turned around and wacked the enemy in the face with the rifle.
A third enemy opened fire on Chris' squad and two of them were shot down. Chris ducked down and shot at the enemy. The enemy was shot in the arm and retreated. Chris took a second shot at the enmies back and hit. Chris crouched down and moved closer to the end of the map. Their esignment was to capture the flag, this time. The rest of the squad was moving with more caution in their steps. Chris went up on a point were he could watch every point of interest. He could see that there were two enmey snipers aim at the squad. They were to far for Chris to fire on, but one of the squad caught them and opened fire. One squad member was shot in the head, but the end result was both snipers being taken out.
Chris looked around a bit more. He spotted an enemy squad of five coming toward the remaining squad of three. Chris took aim and shot. He killed one, but the others were now alert and took cover. There was a large fire fight and only one of Chris' squad survived. Chris took this opperatunity to join his teammate. The two made their way to the end, where they saw the flag guarded by three enemy units. They easily took them out and went for the flag. They bothed grabbed it at the same time and ended the simmulation.
Chris only looked at the his own score afterwords. He kept no care for the one who survived with him.
