Title: Basic Combat Training

Anakin - January 10, 2007 12:10 AM (GMT)
Basic Combat training is taught to every Mandalorian at first. Everybody has to start somewhere. This holds fighting with blasters, light and heavy ones. Fighting with melee weapons and combat arts that even resemble Jedi arts.

EbeneezerAl - January 28, 2007 07:29 PM (GMT)
Alucard followed the map to the Bounty Hunter Training Camp. THere the scum and lowlifes of the universe trained in the skills neccessary to track down their marks. Here they were trained in how to fight, how to survive. How to avoid the law on their less-than-legally sound missions.

Glancing around, he saw the facilities where bounty hunters-in-training were instructed in the art of combat. That seemed as good a place as any to get started.

Approcaching the entrance to the facility, he found someone who appeared to be in a position of importance.

"Hey, he called out. "I just got here for training. Where do I go to get started?"

lewy - January 29, 2007 12:45 AM (GMT)
After a while, Resei finds the training.
So here is where the best killers in the galaxy are being trained, he thought. Interesting. He starts wandering around, watching as both skilled and not so skilled fighters are training. It is an impressive view, the sight of hundreds of killers in training.
As he wanders around, he sees a lonely, confused person.
"Hello, are you to new here? Do we need to be accepted somewhere?" he asks friendly.

Anakin - January 29, 2007 08:16 PM (GMT)
A mandalorian walked to two people who found the training camp

"What are you guys, doing here?! This is a restricted area!"

He called a few other mandalorians and spoke to them

"Cuff them and take them to Fett....he'll deal with them!"

The mandalorians cuffed Alucard and Lewy and took them to Boba Fett's quarters.

EbeneezerAl - January 30, 2007 12:25 AM (GMT)
Returning to the combat training facility with the guard, Alucard was led to the armory, where the guard gave him his armor and light blaster. Taking the equipment from him, Alucard put the armor on, holstering the blaster.

I'm in, he thought. From here on in, it's easy. As they say, the first step is hardest.

Equipped at last for his training, he looked over at the guard.

"Well, then," he said. "How do I begin?"

Anakin - February 2, 2007 05:05 PM (GMT)
A mandalorian showed them around the camp. Where they fight combat arts...where they practice to shoot blasters on targets. There was a list of missions to practice in the jungle. Mandalorians often kept prisoners which they released to be hunted to be either killed or captured. At this moment the list wasn't any longer. There was one guy called Marto Jadin who was released in the jungle to be captured.
The second showed a guy called Til Macuro who was a Twi'Lek which was release to be killed. All those who wanted to assign for these training missions had to subscribe to the list.

EbeneezerAl - February 2, 2007 10:06 PM (GMT)
Alucard looked at the short list of missions available and concidered which he would prefer. After a moments concideration, he decided that it would be a better test of his skills togo for the capture rather than the kill. He signed up on the list to undertake the mission and then looked to the hunter who had shown them around.

"I have two questions. First, do I get any other equipment to help me capture this guy, or is it just the light blaster. Secondly, as long as he's alive, does it matter if I injure him?"

Anakin - February 2, 2007 10:36 PM (GMT)
He got a quick answer: "No you will have to use your basic combat armour...this man is unarmed...at least he left unarmed hehe"

His laughter didn't make the mission sound very safe.

"You'll have to travel though the jungle to find him. If you search the panel you can find a picture how he looks like. The Twi'Lek shouldn't be hard to find. There are no other Twi'Leks here...

lewy - February 3, 2007 05:25 PM (GMT)
the kiffar sighes.

well, i guess i will take the other mission, then.

he smiles sad and controls the Armour and Light Blaster.

shall I just get started then?

he walks away to kill as the guards nods, knowing that this will be his first kill. and that the second time is easier, so thecnically, he would now remove any sphere he eventually had for killing, and be a perfect killing machine, if he survived...

lewy - February 3, 2007 11:48 PM (GMT)
After about one and a half day, Resei returns with his "prey".
"It" hangs from his strong shoulders, the blood on his head barely dry.

"Well, here he is."

The young Kiffar just smiles as some of the Mandalorians nods at the Twi'lek body, noticing the head-shot.
The Mandalorian "in charge" of the two newcomers approaches him.

"Well, you did it, boy! Your first kill! How did it felt?"

The man smiled, obviously going to judge the Kiffar at the answere.

"It felt good! I have never felt so... Alive! And look, perfect head-shot, at 10 metres distance!"

The eager boy smiles proudly showing his trophy.

"Not bad, not bad... Well, could you do the same at a bulls eye target?"

The young one flushed.

"I am not sure... I must confess he rose in the moment I shot... So it was some luck involved, but the shot would have been deadly even if he hadn't done that! I could need some practising, though... If I am allowed?"

"Yes, I thought we were talking about some luck here... Go on, kid, start the training anytime, you will soon be accepted as a novice, I think."

The Mandalorian smiled as the boy walked away to start the training. He had potential, he realised. He took the dead body to bring it to Boba Fett, curious at how he would react. He thought that both the newcomers could do well if they survived long enough. They both had the love for killing that was not usual in that young boys, and he was rarely wrong about those things!

EbeneezerAl - February 4, 2007 05:11 PM (GMT)
Alucard made his way back into camp, the now conscious Marto Jadin still slung over his shoulder. He had put up a fuss initially, but had soon quieted down after Alucard threatened to hit him again.

Arriving back in camp, he approached a bounty hunter near the mission postings. Tilting his head toward his captive hae asked:

"So what would you like me to do with this?"

Anakin - February 9, 2007 11:04 PM (GMT)
One of the Mandalorians pointed him to a terminal. A computer which had lots of data of how to practice with some excercise missions in the jungle. To hunt or to kill. Other choices led to places where they could practice with larger blasters and other weapons such as flame-throwers. It was very occupied in the camp and it looked like the camp was very active. The sun was burning so in their armour it was very tough to train.

EbeneezerAl - February 10, 2007 01:51 AM (GMT)
Alucard handed Jadin off to one of the bounty hunters and then looked down at the terminal. He scrolled through the list of training options, looking for something that piqued his interest. Finally, his gaze fell on vibroblade training. Turning to leave, he saw the Kiffar who had been taken to Fett's quarters with him, handing the dead body of a Twi'lek to one of the bounty hunters. Walking up to him, he began to speak.

"I guess you passed your trial as well. My nome's Alucard Loran, as you may recall from our little meeting with Fett. I left before learning yours. I was wondering if you might be interested in a little vibroblade training."

lewy - February 10, 2007 07:49 PM (GMT)
The kiffar looks up, examinating his new friend.

"Yes, i passed. and i have been training a lot alone lately... so... okey, Alucard, why not. My name is Resei Mantok, wheter you like it or not."

He almost smiled, bur managed to stop himself. he thought he had made a dreadful lot of friends lately, but it was okey. Atleast these were friends he could benefit of befriending. Then he forced on a false smile, which he had years of training to do. Even from childhood he had practised on the grwn up members of the senate as they "visited" his mother. He had learned it was quit ok, it could pass as real if people didn't loock to closely. He only remembered once he had smiled genuine to a grown up expect his father or mother. He had just been forced into a fight with the upper-middleclass children (and was about to lose, as he was attacked by 5 or 6 of them at the same time). A man in some kind of a robe suddenly stood there. The sight had filled the children with a strange awe, and he had told the others to leave. They had done as he said, and Resei remembered feeling strangely connected to the long haired, bearded man. (OOC: guess who... lol) Then he had smiled, and the man smiled back, telling Resei in a mild and gentle tone to go home, before his mother wondered where he was and got worried. Then Resei had started crying silent, tears flowing from his eyes. The man had smiled again, a smile filled with sorrow and understanding. Don't worry, he had said. It will be alright. Just be patient.

Thinking of this almost forced tears into his eyes, but he resisted it. No crying in public amongst Bounty Hunters and Mandalorians!

"Well, let's go then," Alucard replied (OOC: hope it's ok for you, Eb :) ) and they left for the training togheter.

EbeneezerAl - February 11, 2007 01:05 AM (GMT)
OOC: Nah I don't mind. Light autoing is fine, and to be honest, this guy doesn't really have a distinctive a personality as many of my other characters elsewhere, so I doubt you could do much to make him sound out of character.

**********************************

Alucard stood in the training ring, facing Resei, his vibroblade held in his right hand in a defensive position. He did not have an enormous amount of experience with the sword. Due to his high class upbrining, he did have some degree to tutulage in it's use. Mostly flashy, high class sort of thing, a more pompous art than anything. But no he would hone those skills he had been tought into brutal efficiancy. The flashy and showy moves he had been tought, combined with new skills from the mandalorians to become a beautiful dance of pain and death.

Alucard left the swith on his unpressed. Activating the blades power cell would send ultrasonic vibrations through the blade, maximizing it's cutting efficiancy. In a true fight, it meant little resistance when slicing through the bodies of your foes, but here, in a training scenario, such cutting power was not neccessary, or even wanted.

Resei made the first move, swinging his blade in a wide arc toward Alucard's head. Alucard swung his weapon out to meet his, the clang of metal ringing in their ears as the blades connected. He held his blow a second, before twisting his arm out of the lock and taking a shot at his leg. The Kiffar droped his sword down to catch the blow.

As son as their blades connected, Alucard raised his sword and swung at Resei's opposite arm. Resei blocked this attack and the counterd with a move of his own, again an attempt to take off Alucard's head. Alucard ducked the blow, and then, still in a crouch, began a two handed swing up over his own head intended to catch the Kiffar full in the face. Resei swung downward with both hands and caught the attack. Their blades remained locked for several moments, as they stared at each other's faces.

"Not bad," Alucard said. "I'm enjoying this."

lewy - February 11, 2007 03:26 PM (GMT)
Resei smiled in Alucards face as they stood locked together.
It would clearly be a fair fight, between two equals.

"You are not so bad yourself," he said, and they finally parted.

He had not trained so much in the art of vibroblades, only with sticks in his youth. But he knew the most lethal was strokes to head and groan. And that he had to find a good rhythm.

He swung his blade towards Alucards groan, and then suddenly changed direction of the cut. Alucard barely followed, but managed to block good enough for Resei to miss with a couple of inches. Alucard swung his blade at him, and Resei barely managed to dodge. Then they jumped away from each other, in defensive positions.

They circled around each others, and jumped at each other in short blows and out again, measuring the other ones strength.
They repeated this ritual, and after a while they realised what the skilled Mandalorian attendants had understood after the first strike, that the two was equals, and that the winner would be the one with best luck, not skills. Nothing was sure about this battle, and that was why they watched it. The two newcomers were not good enough for any Mandalorian to learn something from them, and no one really cared about the outcome.

Alucard swung his vibroblade at Reseis stomach. Resei quickly blocked, and stabbed after his opponent. Alucard barely blocked, forcing Reseis blade towards the ground. Resei jumped back, and then into the battle again. Their swords clashed together with the sound of steel hitting steel. Alucard stabbed, and Resei dodged, swinging his blade towards Alucards head. Alucard ducked, swinging his sword in Reseis direction. But Resei was gone. Alucard turned, and there was Resei, running towards him. He swung his sword, and Alucard raised his to block, but Resei change direction of his cut, and Alucard felt a little pain in his side. At the same time he felt a vibrating in his sword, and they jumped away from each others.

Resei stood still, breathing heavily. He felt a little drop of blood from a scar in his side, and saw Alucard had an almost identical sore at his side. Resei smiled (genuine) at him.

"First blood?" he asked, stabbing his sword in the ground. He smiled cold as he waited for Alucard to answer. If they played first blood the battle would be over by now, as a draw. If not, they would continue to fight until one of them gave up, or in one or another way could not fight anymore...

EbeneezerAl - February 12, 2007 04:05 PM (GMT)
"No need to kill ourselves," Alucard replied. "We wouldn't do very well as Mandalorians if we died during training now would we?

"I think that's good enough for vibroblades, for now," he said. "let's move on to something else. There are after all, a lot of ways to kill a man."

Alucard looked at Resei thoughtfully.

"Well, I picked this one. What type of training should we do next?"

lewy - February 12, 2007 04:17 PM (GMT)
Resei threw his vibroblade down in the dust.

"Good match, pal."

He smiled (and meant it) and shock Alucards hand. The Mandalorians walked disappointed away.

"Well, now we have trained our reflexes, so perhaps we should train our precision... Or strength. No, when I think of it, we have trained our strength greatly enough during this battle, and I think we are a little to exhaust to start training unarmed fight. Shall we go and have some bull’s-eye-target-shooting-practise?"

"As I said, it's your turn to chose," Alucard said (OOC: Again, hope you don't mind )

"Very well," Resei said, and then the two young ones went to the shooting practise area.

EbeneezerAl - February 14, 2007 03:06 AM (GMT)
Alucard took his light blaster in his right hand and aimed at the target. His eye traveled over the barrell sighting toward the target at the far end of the room. He pulled the trigger several times and sent a hail of laser bolts toward the target. They weren't all perfect, but the deadly red beams of light lanced the target at points close to it's center.

Alucard glanced at his shots and shrugged. They weren't as good as some of the top Mandalorians, but if the target was a hunt, they would have all hit. When you were in a high profile aristocratic family, you didn't go far without knowing how to protect yourself. Some people just carried the blasters to scare people, but Alucard knew it was foolish. If you're gonna draw a weapon, you should at least be able to use it reasonably well. Fear wasn't enough to deal with people who wanted you dead.

Alucard took aim again and fired.

lewy - February 14, 2007 07:56 PM (GMT)
Resei stood all quiet as Alucard shot another fine round.
When it was finally his turn, he took aim as good as he could.
He knew he should have no problem here, as he was used to blast small desert-creatures. When he got the "Now it will hit" feeling, he didn't wait a split-second. He pulled the trigger of his light-blaster, and watched the blaster bolts charging ahead at the bull's-eye target. He smiled as he saw all of them hit in almost the same place, leaving a frying mark not too far away from the centre. They were all deadly hits, and Resei smiled as he took aim again.

This time it was perfect. He pictured himself the smallest desert-creature he had ever killed, placed it in the center of the target, and pulled the trigger again. It felt cold to his skin, untill the weapon spat out its deadly "cargo". One of the bolts hit perfectly, in the very eye of the "bull", Right were the head of the desert-creature was in his imagination. the others hit not far away, leaving the poor creature dead. All of his shot had hit the creature, and very near the center of the target. It was a good 36th round...

Resei smiled at Alucard as they had had 50 rounds each. They had both done well, though a skilled Mandalorian would have beaten them both clearly. It was good enough as the newcomers they were.

"Hunting trials next?" Resei asked.

"Perhaps," Alucard said.
"But let's have some sleep now," he continued.

Resei loocked around him, and got very confused when he found it was all dark around them.

"Yes, you have a point," he said, and then they walked to the sleeping quarters.

Anakin - February 14, 2007 09:04 PM (GMT)
A Mandalorian stepped to the two in training.

"You two! Come up here, I have a mission for you! You two have showed splendid work and we are lacking bounty hunters at the moment, so we have no choice to send you two....besides the Kiffar might prove to come in handy for this kind of job....

Senator Bail Organa is in the possession of a holo-disk which contains important data for our client. This disk it to be stolen directly from him. He cannot see you two, or there should be no signs that you broke in his office, if one of you gets caught, don't try to rescue your partner if you are in possession of the disk.

The disk contains data of Emperor Palpatine's background and history in the Clone Wars which could endanger his position. If Bail decides to use this disk against him, then the Alliance has a greater shot to bring him down. We have no information where this disk precisely is. This is where the Kiffar should jump in...with his reading ability, he should be able to find that disk...If necessary...and of course if you are able to read it from Bail himself.

A ship is waiting...don't fail us! When you complete this with success a fair amount of the bounty will be shared with you..."

EbeneezerAl - February 15, 2007 04:41 AM (GMT)
"I guess we'll just catch some sleep on the shuttle then," said Alucard. "It should take us a while to get to Alderaan." He smiled and looked to Resei.

"I guess we got a little better than hunting trials," he said.

Alucard felt confident with this mission. He was raised in aristocratic society. He knew how it operated. He had been around the types of people he would have fool to pull this mission off. Resei could use his Kiffar sense to find the the exact location. Alucard could make sure they could get in, get the info, get the disk, and get out without arousing suspicion.

This was going to be cake.

lewy - February 15, 2007 04:43 PM (GMT)
Resei smiled. Or atleast he tried to, but inside him it raged a brutal battle. A disk worthy for the Alliance! His brother had joined the Alliance, so why shouldn't Resei help them out? But still, his brother was probably dead already, and... After all, Resei was a bounty hunter, and a bounty hunter did what he was paid for, whitout questioning. He almost shok his head. Pull yoursself together now, Resei! You are a bounty hunter, that's what you've wanted! And it couldn't be a bad thing to get powerful friends in the Empire! He had to take it as a real bounty hunter. Besides, Alucard was also a part of this, and Resei would breake both of their careers if he did anything brave and stupid. Better to do this!

"Oki, let's go, partner" He smiled cold. Once he had decided, he did never change his mind. Atleast he didn't use to.

"I guess we won't have any new, improved armour or weapons?"

"No, off course not," the Mandalorian said.
"This is no killing mission, I would rather see you do it unarmed! But as a rule of security and all that nonsense...
Now, get lost! Hurry!"

The two partners went to the hangers, both in different thoughts.

Chaox - March 8, 2007 04:21 PM (GMT)
Zapp did enter the giant training ground and took his funny helmet on walked in to the large arena as he walked he was amazed by the large and good structure and how it was built and he was longing for to begin his training.

He was now waitning for his trainer to come and introduce himself, Zapp was nervous about this and felt really really nervous about this but still managed to hold his guard and keep his cool

Anakin - March 10, 2007 04:57 PM (GMT)
OOC: Chaox, please watch your sentence structures, you rarely use full stops ".". Try reading the first sentence you wrote in one breath, it's very difficult to do so. Please watch how others write. Or myself.

A well armed Mandalorian approached Zapp. He gave him a full explanation about how Mandalorian armours work. He showed him utilities like the Flame-Thrower on one of the gauntlets. Mandalorian armours are known throughout the galaxies as an assassin's dream, being equiped with the deadliest weapons known for hunting, stealing, stealth and so forth.

The Mandalorian warrior then reached into his pocket and revealed a small dart, which was known as a Kamino Saber Dart in the years of the Old Republic.

Zapp was given a thorough tour of the training grounds and showed where these weapons could be found and used.

Finally they stopped where they began. The Mandalorian left and Zapp was now on his own to start his training himself. But before he left, the Mandalorian made it clear, that Zapp would be watched throughout his training.

Chaox - March 10, 2007 10:34 PM (GMT)
Zapp paid much attention to the supervisor and then did as he ordered him and went around and looked at eqiupment to familizare himself with them.

He first went to the shooting range and tried out the sniper and the dual pistols. They went fine and both the weapon types very easy to handle and they was very well tuned.

After the shooting range after he had shoot a few rounds and scored for most part pretty well. He begins to walk towards a large table with different types of eqiupment that mandalorian bounty hunters use.

He instantly spots a large knife like blade that you mount on your arm. Zapp grabs it and and does a few manuevers it fitted perfectly in his hand and the movements was clearly well trained he was born to do this.

He then put the blade down and grabs some saber darts and throws them at a target 10 meters behind... Each one hits and zapps smiles a little and then walks over to the armour selection he looks at the latest one.

It has both incorpareted stealth system and a amount of different visors and scanning systems. It was made off manda metal and very nice and shiny it was perfect in the eyes of Jack. he toutched it a little and then tried it on it was not that heavy becuase it had incorparated techs to make it light including gravity manipluators.

He walked around a bit and felt very happy he tried some fighting moves and was stunned by the armor weith and mobility.

lewy - April 11, 2007 01:29 PM (GMT)
After a few more days of training his shooting skills improved.
Now it was not as much luck as skills that decided were the blast would end up, and he was getting to know his weapon. He had also becomed a little skilled in shooting at mooving targets.

He had also gotten used to the armor now, and had grown stronger through physical exercises.
He hoped he would be allowed to go and kill someone else soon.
He was so eager for it he could barely wait!

A Mandalorian whistled. Resei turned, and caught sight of something flying through the air in his direction.
He clumsy reached out to catch it, and he actually managed to grip it.
Though he almost lost it in the shock of managing to catch it...

- Kid! Let's train! the Mandalorian said.
If we are doing it right now, we can train two of our skills.
Reflexes and shooting with smaller pistols.

In that moment Resei understood what he had catched. He recognized it as a DL-44 blaster, as he had seen a hologram of it once.

- This is a DL-44 blaster, as you might have recognized, the Mandalorian said in a tone that told he didn't believe he had.
It is specially designed to fire blasts that just hurts a bit for a little while, but can't actually damage you.
We are going to get out on the arena and shoot at each other.
Sounds teriffic, eh? Well, as you understand
(again this mocking "I-don't-believe-so-tone") this exercise will not only improve your skills with a small blaster pistiol, but will also improve your reflexes, as you have to try and dodge my shots. Besides it will perhaps be good with a little experience in such situations.
Ready, green one?

- Off course, Sir. Resei saluted smartly while he thought that he would love to get the opportunity to shoot at the undfriendly Mandalorian...

lewy - April 11, 2007 05:11 PM (GMT)
Resei realized he should try to get as many advantages as he could in the beginning, and then just try and deal with whatever then came...
He knew the one thing he would do, and he didn't feel like cheating...
As the two "competitors" had faced each other and bowed, from a 10 metres distance, Resei leaned just a little to the left, as to soon be able to jump in that direction.
He hoped his opponent thought he was green enough to show what direction he was supposed to dodge...

The start shot came, and Resei quickly kicked of with his left foot, dodging to the right.
The Mandalorian had a confident smile on his face when he immidiately shot to what was his right side of Resei.
He had after all shown he was heading there, green as he was.
He gasped in surprize as Resei dodged the other way, knowing he had been tricked.
- Not that green after all, he thought.

Resei saw the plan had succeded at the surprize in his opponents face.
Imediately he shot at him, but the far more skilled Mandalorian dodged, and got away with a shot only just missing his left leg.
Then there was a moment of peace as both "competitors" had to get control over their flying bodys.
And then it really started. They moved around the arena, jumping, rolling and shoting at each other.

Resei clarely was nothing against this Mandalorian.
The majority of the shots were his, but he got the majority of the hits taken were his too...
After a while, though, Resei got a bit more control, managing to avoid an almost decent amount of the shots against him, and it was not just luck that saved him.
He also managed to get more hits with fewer shots.
He enjoyed the training, and was considering liking the Mandalorian.
A sharp pain in the leg, however, made him change his mind...
- Get your head back were it belongs,
he thought to himself, before sending his answeres at the Mandalorian.

After some days with the same program:

-Running in the jungle at once he stood up
-physical exercises to train strenght before and after breakfast
-bulls'eye-target shoting on moving and standing targets
-fist-fight training with bags and Mandalorians
-a little free time before and after dinner
-blaster pistol and reflexes training with the same Mandalorian as always
-vibrosword training or more running in the joungle
-other strenght-enhancing exercises than in the morning
-the rest of the day free

he felt both stronger, more fit, with better reflexes and improvement in all of the combat arts listed abow.

But he hoped he would soon be assigned for a mission, and that it would mean killing someone.
Or else he would go on and take on another hunting trial...

Cashis - June 26, 2007 01:04 AM (GMT)
Cashis entered the training area for Bounty Hunters and Mandalorians. The sound of blaster bolts firing, and vibro blades clashing, were the first things he noticed as he entered. It seemed that here they taught everything essential to a hunter. Here he would learn everything he needed to become one. He would be able to learn how to fire a blaster properly, how to use blades, to be stealth, demolition, improve his accuracy, and most of all, how to survive in this harsh galaxy. He walked past a group of mandalorians practicing with sniper rifles. He paused to take a better look. They seemed to be pretty good, all except a few exceptions. Cashis squinted his eyes, trying to get a better look at their rifles. From where he was standing it looked like they was using DC-15x. Cashis liked sniper rifles. He planned to practice a lot with them, improving his knowledge about them, and his accuracy. After a minute or two he continued on.

He past a group practicing with vibro blades, and another with staff’s. He stopped to watch a spar match between two melee combatants. One was in full all red armor, standing at about the same height as Cashis. The other was in blue armor, helmet off, a scar over his left eye, and was shorter then the other. The taller one jabbed forward, attempting to end the fight by breaking the others nose, but the other leaned back, avoiding the jab, and followed up with a jab of his own. The taller one caught the fist and punched him under his armpit. The short one let out a gasp of air, and then felt a armor covered elbow slam into face. He stumbled back and spun around. He started to fall but placed his hands on the ground in front of him, catching himself, and balancing himself out. He placed a hand on his face and shook his head hard. He brushed off the pain and stood up, getting into a defensive stance. The taller man ran forward, swing his fist in all directions towards the other, and, with a swift movement that Cash barley saw, the tall one feet were kicked from under him. He fell face first on the ground. The smaller one had dropped down and did a spinning kick that tripped him.

The smaller one walked over to the downed man and stuck out his hand. He helped the taller one up, and they began to spar again. Cashis smirked started to wander around the camp, waiting for a instructor to approach him….

Anakin - June 26, 2007 05:24 PM (GMT)
As Cashis had hoped for, an instructor began to walk his way. Carefully looking him up and down, trying to determine his feats.

"I assume you're just starting here...." He looked at his clothing and noticed he was not in armour yet, he then pointed to a rack where basic armour was stalled.

"You can pick up some armour there to start with.... They don't withstand blaster bolts but they should be able to prevent damage from most melee weapons..... So.... What is your purpose here? What do you wish to learn?" He looked over to some of the Bounty Hunters who were fighting in the camp with lightsabers.

"If you want to become the best, you train to become a Jedi Hunter..... We only have a few of them.... You think you can become as good as those men over there?" He pointed to the Jedi Hunters.

Cashis - June 26, 2007 07:10 PM (GMT)
Cashis looked at the Jedi hunters. They were fighting with the weapons of the Jedi, lightsabers. He raised an eyebrow.

“I thought that only Jedi and Sith used those?…..But it does make some sense to use a Jedi’s weapon against them. It would take much skill to master a weapon like that, but I think I could.....in time.” Cashis looked around the camp and then back at the instructor. “I plan to be one of the best, and to do that, I will need to learn as much as I can. Swords, blasters, demolition, I want to learn it all. Even how to use a lightsaber.” He looked back at the Jedi Hunters. “If those are the best, then I plan to become one of them. So, where do I start and what do I do?”

"Well, the lightsabers will have to wait...you can pick any melee weapon you want, any small blaster. You'll get a holdout blaster in your posession, no large blasters yet, but you can train with them if you want."

He pointed to a terminal.

"That terminal holds information of the current missions we have for trainees. They're all set here on Mandalore of course and no reward will be given except to your own reputation. The missions vary into hunting or survival missions. Mostly we hunt down prisoners or creatures from the forests. You can choose for yourself..."

Cashis - June 27, 2007 04:36 AM (GMT)
“OK then…..I’ll be on my way..…” Cashis said. He turned and started towards the rack with the basic armor. There was many colors to pick from, but he had already picked his out when the instructor first pointed them out. He walked straight to, and picked up, a set of all black armor. He quickly slipped it on and grabbed his holdout blaster. He examined the weapon and then put it in its holster. He started walking trough the camp, looking for somewhere to start.

Cashis walked over to the target practice range and pulled out his blaster. He tried to spin it on his finger, but failed, almost dropping it. He placed the blaster correctly in his hand and then aimed at the target. He pulled the trigger and a red beam shot out. It flew trough the air strait to the target. Smoke floated off the burn mark where it hit. Cashis lowered his weapon a little, getting a better look at where he shot. It hit the target but was to the top left of the bull’s eye. If he wanted to be the best he would need to have better aim. He fired another shot, this time hitting a little closer. Cashis let out a sigh and changed the power cell of his Holdout-blaster. They were only good for two shots which makes it a not really reliable weapon. It better as a back up. He fired the next two rapidly. One touched the bull’s eye, the other hit above it.

He continued to practice, getting a little better with each shot. In the end he had hit the bull’s eye a few times. He put his blaster away and then headed over to vibro blades training area. He grabbed one and started to practice a sequence of attacks. He slashed down diagonally, followed up with a horizontal slash, and finished with a forward stab. He picked up on using the blade fast. His movements sped up and his attacks seemed to flow together more. At times he would do something irrational and unpredictable, movements that would throw off another fighter. But his stamina still seemed to need to strengthen. He grew tired after a while and sat down. After he caught his breath he started to train some more….

Resei trained with his new EE-3 Carbine Rifle.
It was better than the last, and he smiled satisfied at his skills with it.
If he hadn't succeeded the mission in every meaning of the word, he had at least killed a good 15 troopers...
He waited for the recruits to show up, he had sent a mandelorian to fetch them.

lewy - June 27, 2007 06:01 PM (GMT)
A mandelorian interrupted Cashis in his training.

"Resei Mantok requests your presence on the training grounds.
He's right over there," he said and pointed at a vague point on the other side of the training grounds.

"He's going to be your new trainer...
You're lucky!
Not everybody get their own trainer!
You will train together with this other champ...
Now, get going!"

Cashis - June 27, 2007 06:44 PM (GMT)
Cashis nodded at the mandalorian and started walking towards Resei. He was a Kiffar, just like Cashis, and was practicing with a rifle. He was pretty good with it. Cashis stood next to him and watched as he continued to practice.

"I'll take it you Resei, right? Nice to met you, I'm Cashis. So, your going to be trainning me?" Cashis asked.

lewy - June 27, 2007 06:53 PM (GMT)
Resei stood up.
He smiled at his fellow Kiffar.

"Yes, I am your trainer. Nice to meet you. Hmm... I see the other one is not yet here..
Then we'll start a little without him.
Do you want to show me what you know so far?"

Cashis - June 27, 2007 07:20 PM (GMT)
"OK." Cashis said. He pulled out his holdout0blaster and aimed at the target infront of him. He fired off two shots, one hitting the side of the bull's eye, and the other above it. "I'm still practicing." He put the blaster away. "You wanna spar with me? Hands to hands only. You'll probably beat me but it would be good practice."

lewy - June 27, 2007 09:04 PM (GMT)
"hmm... Your skills are good! But I fear we will have to take that sparing later... Will you please follow me, and we will meet the other recruit..."

OOC: He made us a whole thread! Let's go there. "Assigned trainer" thread.

Taves Sarfell - June 27, 2007 10:06 PM (GMT)
Taves was a bit nervous he had heard of Resei around the camp. From Resei's silence he couldn't tell if his fellow bounty hunter was impressed or not by his little bit of fancy shooting. "How did I do that" thought Taves "Either I've really improved or that was some good luck"
