Title: The Outlander Club

Anakin - January 9, 2007 11:21 PM (GMT)
Here you'll find the lowest scum of Coruscant. Smugglers, bountyhunters...For smuggling or transport this is the best place to be, but to hire a bountyhunter, best is to go to the guild and place your order. The cantina is filled with pilots to smuggle anything you want...from spices to slaves or even fugitives, which will of course require a higher price.

RayCaptain - January 25, 2007 07:52 PM (GMT)
I am looking for a job any job! I heard about that killer going around taking care of the senators and I'll tell you what I don't like it. Not one little bit. Back on subject now...I need credits now and I don't want some babysitting job you know. I will snuff out a rival of yours or make a delivery really cheap. You name your price and I'll think on it ,and if I take it I will finishit or die trying...What do you guys say? If you need something great if not then I'll move on.Oh and make it a quick job I ain't got all day.

Anakin - January 25, 2007 08:16 PM (GMT)
"Do I look like somebody who has money grown on his back!? Well...do I?!"

The thing is...I haven't seen your face here before...and you'll have to earn my trust if you want to work for me, boy! And if I tell you to sweep the floor, you WILL sweep it, understand?!"

The guy was very bossy and his breath was terrible. He then changed the subject: "Here is what you could do...you'll have to earn my trust, so you'll have to prove yourself...I need somebody to steal something. It's a holocron in the Jedi Temple...you think you can manage that?!"

The guy took out a drawing where the holocron is depicted on. This is how it looks like. It is said that it is a Sith Holocron and the Jedi keep it a secured room, so you'll have to by-pass their security surveillance."
The guy looked him straight in the eyes and asked once again: "Well...do you think you can manage that?!"

RayCaptain - January 25, 2007 08:24 PM (GMT)
"Well now sir," Ray laughed a little,"that does depend on how much money you will give me,"

Ray wasn't scared the least bit by the guy but the mission sounded tough.

"The answer to you're question is this...I can do anything," Ray was getting cocky to hide his suprise.

He felt sweat run down his face for the Jedi Temple was tight security and Ray didn't like the idea of getting caught.

Anakin - January 25, 2007 08:33 PM (GMT)
The guy was grinning: "How much you get paid? Nothing! Do you hear me...NOT-HING!!!"

Rude as he was he continued talking to Ray:"Like I said...if you want a job, you'll have to earn my trust...if you succeed, you will be rewarded with a very good job, hehe"

"But here is 100 credits. I know a person by the name of "Manulto". I heard he has a fake Jedi robe with an old lightsaber that doesn't work. Go to the auction...ask for him and offer him the money. Get yourself in disguise and head for the temple."

He stopped speaking for a second while he turned around and took a sip from his drink. Then he turned back around to Ray.

"Don't show your face here again, unless you have that holocron..."

RayCaptain - January 28, 2007 09:22 PM (GMT)
The door opened and there stood a figure. This wasn't Ray it was a young man who knew a little more about the Sith. He walked to the counter and dropped the holocron on the table.

"I got you what you wanted now it's your turn to give me what I want...correct? What I want is trust,"

Ray's eyes were cold and his voice like a chill in the air. He had never been more curious

Anakin - January 28, 2007 10:59 PM (GMT)
"This is not the holocron, that I wanted! hahahaha! But you still have it...I wanted to test your skills if you could really break in the Jedi Temple...and you passed"

"You have my trust, boy!"

"If you want a job...then you'll have to become a smuggler...So what do you think...thing is, can you fly a freighter?!"
He howed Ray a YT-500 freighter. You'll have to fly to Ryloth and get me some spices from the spiders to make Glyterill...you ever heard of that?!"

RayCaptain - January 28, 2007 11:17 PM (GMT)
"I'll turn that offer down...now do me a favor and keep your friend down at the auction off of me and don't let him tell the Jedi," Ray laughed, "I told him I'd give him 50% of what I make off this holocron. Does that upset you, that I told Manulto that?"

Ray turned around and started to leave but stopped.

"Please don't let him tell because if he tells then I'll get in trouble, and if I get in trouble so do you,"

Ray then left to the University.

Lyy - March 12, 2007 05:40 PM (GMT)
Lyy entered the cantina and pulled down the hood on her cloak and peered around. She then spotted the bartender and walked up to the counter and sat on a free barstool, tapping her fingers on the counter to get the bartenders attention.

“Gimme a Jawa beer and maybe alittle info on who to talk to, to get work wi’ the heavy guys around here and there might be a little tip in it for ya”

Lyy pulled out a credit chip and flashed it at the bartender to see if she had gotten his full attention.

Lyy - March 12, 2007 06:21 PM (GMT)
The bartender poured the drink for Lyy and sat it in front of her before leaning over to whisper to her.

“If you wanna make it around here and your really willing to take the risk, you should find one of them Black Sun guys. Tho you need to look hard and prove yourself to them before gaining their trust.”

Lyy down her drink down halfway and say back with a blank look on her face as the information still left her a bit lost and without direction. She quickly then downed the rest of the drink and payed 2 credits for it plus a tip of 10 for the bartender before standing. Lyy then peered around the cantina and started her search for more information.

olis - March 13, 2007 01:02 PM (GMT)
Olis entered the cantina; she was still wearing her white dress with the gold trimming and looked very out of place with the rest of the scum and criminals in the building. She flashed smiles at the sentient beings that gave her curious or interested looks and avoided the ones who didn’t approve of her presence in the building.

Slowly she made her way to the bar, Olis knew at this time she had to play a character. She decided to be the innocent little Twi’lek girl, hopefully she could charm someone by being out of the norm, what she needed was a job or at least an arrangement that could get her some money whilst doing her dancing course.

The Bar man tipped his hat to her “What can I get you missy?” he asked, Olis smiled, getting in to her role “um…do…you have any juices?” as expected the bar man frowned “we’ve got Jawa juice” as the words left his lips she wrinkled her nose in disgust, “you’ve got nothing non-alcoholic?” the bar man smirked and Olis knew her answer “well…um I won’t have anything for the moment…but...I...I am looking for a job…if you’ve any” the bar tender thought on this for a moment then replied “we’ve no…official jobs” Olis frowned in disappointment though it was more melodramatic then she really felt. The bar tender continued “but I may have something…you’re a pretty lass, if you come in to the bar looking all fancy and talk to patrons…get them to buy you drinks I’ll make more money, and I’ll share profits with you.” Olis beamed as if the bartender had saved her life. At least it was a way to get a few more credits. She nodded to the tender and shook his hand though he looked like he wasn’t used to it.

Olis then looked round the bar, looking for someone to talk to.

Lyy - March 13, 2007 01:13 PM (GMT)
Lyy sat at a table and looked pretty annoyed about her current situation, leaving her old job might not have been the best idea before finding a new one. But Lyy still had some confidence in her choice and her eyes browsed around the cantina for a person that might lead her further down the road and closer to her goal. Then she spotted a Twi’lek standing at the bar who looked very much out of place. Lyy smirked to herself and shook her head, thinking about how short time that woman would last down here.

Lyy decided she’d keep an eye on the Twi’lek, just for the sake of entertainment if someone should decide to show the girl what kind of place this was.

olis - March 13, 2007 01:30 PM (GMT)
Olis looked around the bar, she knew in this vicinity she looked like an easy target and she’d have to watch out for that, she didn’t have any combat training and would have to rely on her looks and her words to get out of any trouble, out of the corner of her eye she spotted someone watching her, She was human…or at least near human. The tattoo on her face could’ve been Kiffar…or perhaps Zabrak but she didn’t have the horns of the Braks so either she was a Kiffar or she just liked her tattoos. She looked over in her direction and smiled as if this stranger was her best friend.

The idea entered Olis’ head to simply approach her. She couldn’t cause problems if she was simply being the friendly, innocent and naïve person that she was pretending to be. She gave a small wave and walked over to her, still with the happy smile on her face. “hello miss…nice to meet you, I’m Olis of clan Deloe.” She said in a sweet voice.

Lyy - March 13, 2007 01:47 PM (GMT)
Lyy blinked at the Twi’lek woman in front of her and then she looked herself over the shoulder slightly to see if the woman was really was talking to her. After a little while she returned a nod to the women. “Can I help ya?” Lyy said and scratched her chin with her half long black painted nails. She then leaned back and crossed her arms looking at the woman with an unconvinced look on her face.

olis - March 13, 2007 03:10 PM (GMT)
Olis simply smiled at the woman. She seemed confused, good Best to catch her off guard with her unusual brand of innocence, shyness and friendliness. She smiled, making sure that the woman in front of her knew that Olis was in fact talking to her. “well miss…” she began with a little shyness in her voice “you…smiled at me…so I decided to come say hi…because you smiled at me” Olis made sure that she kept the shy glint in her eye that she had practiced over the years of working as a slave.

Slowly she continued hoping to give this new ‘friend’ an opportunity to speak. “So…I’m Olis, whats your name?” she asked, another smile touching her lips as she leant on a chair next to her new friend.

Lyy - March 13, 2007 03:26 PM (GMT)
“I smiled at ya? Hmm can’t seem to remember tha, no matter” Lyy grinned slightly and scratched her head in confusion. Then leans back over the table and peered at the blue Twi’lek. “You can call me Ice, but tell me… umm Olis are you lost?” Lyy said and made a summoning gesture at the nearest waitress. “A brandy please” Lyy said to the waitress and handed her a 3 credits for the drink before looking back at Olis.

olis - March 13, 2007 03:47 PM (GMT)
Olis frowned, lost? She wasn’t lost…Olis’Deloe never gets lost…oh she was referring to her clothes more then likely. Olis continued frowning, faking a sense of confusion and bewilderment. Eventually she spoke “Lost miss…I don’t quite understand…I’m in Old district aren’t I, The outlander club? I believe I am…unless I’m mistaken?” Olis frowned once more between words; she was getting quite good at this acting stuff.

“Am I mistaken Miss?” she asked. “Why do you think I’m lost?” she finally finished, good to give the other woman a chance to answer some questions, keep her on edge a little bit. That’s the good thing to do.

Lyy - March 13, 2007 04:02 PM (GMT)
Lyy grinned again and took her the brandy the waitress brought her and sipped from it. She then sat her glass down and ran her fingertip over the edge of the glass. “This ain’t really the place people come fer friendly chitchats miss Olis, this is the place people come to get drunk, find work or buy spices” Lyy said and took another sip.

“So either yer new around here, or yer trying to pull on a friendly act for me to buy ya a drink.” She said and gave the Twi’lek a knowing smirk and waited for an reply.

olis - March 13, 2007 04:22 PM (GMT)
Olis smiled, but inside she was thinking how to play around with this person purely for her own enjoyment. “Oh…I know its not all that pretty…but I did come here for work, so I get to be here” she pouted a little “though they only sell alcohol here…crazy isn’t it?” slowly she moved in to a seat with out asking and smoothed out her dress so not to crease it.

“so miss…um….sorry I don’t know your name” she faked embarrassment for a moment “what are you doing here today? Getting drunk, getting a job or getting spice?” she smiled innocently again “I like spicy food…we have lots of it on Ryloth”

Lyy - March 13, 2007 05:00 PM (GMT)
“Ya got my name earlier, and I’m here looking for work as it is, but I’m pretty unlucky so far.” Lyy said and looked around the cantina, annoyed that the woman kept bugging her. “So what is yer work exactly, this? Chitchatting?” Lyy said and took another small sip from her brandy. “I might as well tell ya now; ya have much better luck trying someone else. I’ve grown up on these streets and I’ve seen people pull your act before, so why don’t ya just drop it and talk to me normally before I lose me my patience, hm?”

olis - March 13, 2007 05:26 PM (GMT)
Olis frowned, as if she wasn’t acting. Moving her Lekku so that they were both crossed around her neck. “I always talk like this miss…I’m a dancer…I asked if the man had any jobs but he said no…a shame because I’ve got my outfit and everything” she looked down at her feet a little “I’m sorry if you don’t like me being nice…I just think its nice being friendly…I just came from the university…after enrolling in a course...a dancing one” she smiled a little bit “I’m going to be real famous one day…I just need something to get by with and for some money”

Lyy - March 13, 2007 05:39 PM (GMT)
“We all need money lek” Lyy said and sighed deeply. “What are ya studying at the uni then?” She asked and downed the last of her brandy while looking lazily at the woman. Lyy then put the glass down and ran her finger around the edge of the glass again. She wondered when the woman would give up and go over to the next person, but she’d be willing to play along for now, for the fun of it.

olis - March 13, 2007 05:49 PM (GMT)
Olis frowned at the Kiffar a little bit, wasn’t she listening when she was told by Olis that she was a dancer? Maybe she was just a little slow? This is pretty much the arse end of Coruscant so she expected people here to be a little dumber then your average sentient being. “I’m a dancer miss…I used to work as a slave but now that I am free I can do what I want”

Olis smiled at the Kifaar and looked proud “and what I want to do is dance…you don’t know any places looking do you?” she asked hopefully

Lyy - March 13, 2007 06:00 PM (GMT)
“Ahh I thought dancing was just a side job while ya were studying, hmm… I wouldn’t know about such places, I guess you just have to look at the nearby cantinas and such.” Lyy said and gave a pitying smile to the woman. “How long have you been studying to become a dancer then?” Lyy asked and scratched her hairless skull, calculating how long the woman would last around here if she really weren’t acting. Lyy then decided to forget about it and listen to the woman.

olis - March 13, 2007 06:21 PM (GMT)
Olis smiled, she seemed to be gaining the trust of the woman. This was good. Perhaps sometime soon she could reveal the truth if she stayed in contact but for now her persona of the shy ex slave dancer was good enough. “I’ve been dancing as a slave for a while…just signed up for Uni…I’m real excited, not been to school before”

She paused for a moment, seemingly pondering “maybe when I’ve got my qualification I’ll sell myself in to slavery…I can’t say I didn’t enjoy my time there with my first master, he took good care of me”

Lyy - March 13, 2007 06:31 PM (GMT)
“Why in the whole core world would ya sell yerself again when ya can be yer own boss and earn a very good living?” Lyy asked and looked curiously at the woman. “I mean, when yer done with that education I’m guessing ya can get jobs at the big theatres and preform in front of a big crowd. Makes little sense to work hard on getting a education if yer gonna let someone else get your earnings when yer going to work, if ya get my meaning?” Lyy said and raised a curious eyebrow at the woman.

olis - March 13, 2007 06:39 PM (GMT)
Olis smiled knowingly, obviously this one didn’t know much about the fine art of Twi’lekki slavery…and of course not she was used to scummy, dirty crime lords like Jabba the Hutt who mistreat slaves. “You see miss…We Twi’leks have a different view of slavery.”

She smiled again as she began explaining, “When we Twi’leks are sold, we sell ourselves to rich clients, ones we know are trust worthy…why make your own money, when you can be pampered, lie on pillows and dance all day? We live in luxury as slaves.”

Lyy - March 13, 2007 06:47 PM (GMT)
“Still, ya do not have the freedom to leave whenever ya want to or do whatever ya feel like doing. Ya have to ask permission for everything you do don’t you?” Lyy asked and twisted her lip piercing slightly. “Sounds to me more like a bad case of marriage then earning a living.” Lyy said and shrugged her shoulders while leaning back on her chair again.

Lyy’s eyes wandered up and down the Twi’lek’s person as she tried to find anything that would reveal anything about the woman.

olis - March 13, 2007 06:58 PM (GMT)
Olis smiled at the remark, so many didn’t like the idea of slavery, Olis found it confusing…people said everything was so much simpler when they were children and everything was provided for them…yet they didn’t like slavery where the same was true except you had to do a little bit of work.

Maybe she should mention that…it was a quite good reason “you see miss.. people always say everything was so much simpler when they were children and everything was provided for them…that is what slavery is like for me”

Lyy - March 13, 2007 07:10 PM (GMT)
Lyy frowned a little as herown childhood had not been what the woman in front of her was meaning, but she then shook the thought away and looked back at the woman. “So ya wanna be carried through the rest of yer life in slavery and never do anything on your own two feet?” Lyy asked and frowned at the Twi’lek woman curiously. She then pulled out a pack of Deathsticks and was ready to listen to what the woman had to say while lighting one up one of the spice smokes. Lyy then reached the pack over to the woman questioningly to offer one.

olis - March 13, 2007 07:41 PM (GMT)
Olis shook her hand at the death stick “I don’t smoke...I’ve never had one before” Olis was rather curious about why people did it …she knew of course about the buzz, but surely it couldn’t be so great? Either way she’d seen it make messes of more then one person. “Well…I guess it’s not perfect…but its the best I can expect in this life, I never went to school, I don’t know my parents…its doubtful my parents even knew each other and I’m not human either which gives me a real down side in the Empire…slavery is all I’ve got to look forward to”

Lyy - March 13, 2007 08:00 PM (GMT)
Lyy pocketed the pack and took a deep drag while peering at the woman through the smoke. “But yer going to have an education now, ya have a choice, ya have alternatives now, you not gonna try something different?” Lyy asked and tipped her Deathstick over the ashtray to dump the ash off the end of the stick. She then took another drag from the stick and fiddled with her golden lighter with her other hand.

olis - March 13, 2007 08:06 PM (GMT)
Olis considered that, she’d never really experienced anything different, it was a big wide galaxy and she was just stealing from the inhabitants. What could she do with her life? Be a dance teacher…open her own school, to educate people in the ways of dance and upper class customs…just like her teacher back in the mansion, oh she was nice.

She smiled at Lyy, she was starting to like this poor person “but I don’t know what options I have…apart from being some object in a club somewhere…unless I taught…but I’ve no money to start a school…or to get a license or anything.”

Lyy - March 14, 2007 01:29 AM (GMT)
“Well if I were ya, I’d take a good look around and check my possibilities before just giving up and going back to slavery, but then again, I don’t know anything about slavery.” Lyy said and leaned back casually and blew smoke-rings into the air.

“Maybe the clubs in the higher levels needs some professional dancers or something.” Lyy said and took a last deep drag from her Deathstick before putting the rest of it out in the ashtray. She then blew out the smoke and ran a hand over her bald head and smirked at the Olis.

olis - March 14, 2007 05:27 PM (GMT)
Olis smiled, or more accurately her persona smiled, though Olis was genuinely starting to like this young woman, She let her lekku unwrap and one moved down to her back and the other to the front, she liked moving her lekku around as it gave her a small sense of freedom of movement.

“Thank you for believing in me miss…and I appreciate your advice, I might follow what you say and look in the upper levels…but I’d rather be around all my own people…of my own wealth I mean.”

Lyy - March 14, 2007 05:42 PM (GMT)
Lyy nodded and gave the woman a slight smirk. “Yer welcome, but now if ya don’t need me anymore I’ll take a walk around the cantina see if I can find me some work.” Lyy said and pocketed her lighter before standing up. “I usually come here on a daily basis, so if ya need to find me again this be the place to look.” Lyy said and shook her cloak slightly before turning to walk towards the other and more crowded end of the cantina, waving slightly back at the Twi’lek without looking.

olis - March 14, 2007 09:11 PM (GMT)
Olis frowned at the fact that she was leaving but felt a little happiness that she would be able to be found here almost everyday, if she was working as a girl who had t get drinks bought for her then I would be best that she made a few friends around here that could afford to buy drinks for her.

Slowly she turned in her seat and smiled, waving to her. “Thank you misses! I hope to see you again” she said smiling to her newest friend.

Anakin - March 15, 2007 11:12 PM (GMT)
Kalin walked in and went immediately to the Club. He slammed his hand onto the bar. He removed his hand which revealed Darth Vader's Seal. The bartender then immediately knew this was serious.

"I need to make contact with Black Sun..... I need to know where the Vigo is hiding, or it will be swirming with stormtroopers here in a minute...."

The bartender stuttered out of fear, especially after seeing Darth Vader's Seal. He knew that everybody who carried it was under his protection and had his complete trust.

"I.... I ..... don't know..... where..... the vigo's hiding..... My Lord..... But... I think.... I can..... maybe..... guide you....... to someone who does know! But, he keeps himself in the shadows.... uh..... Sometimes he is even seen here! But they are rare..... His name is Arko Vess..... A Twi'lek who served under the Hutts...... But recently he's gone out on his own."

"Where is he..."

"Oh, on the lowest levels of Coruscant would be my guess..... Although, he's not a Bounty Hunter no more, he has been known to be tempted by irresistable offers...... He's very good they say! Uh.... Even matching Boba Fett...... Although I think that's an old hermit's tale...."

Kalin flipped a coin onto the bar.

He turned and left the club without a further word.....

Lyy - March 16, 2007 02:41 AM (GMT)
Lyy had kept her ears open for anything concerning Black Sun for a few days now and then she finally heard it mentioned at the bar. She casually took out her datapad and leaned her back against the counter not far from where the conversation was held. She noted down on the datapad as if she was just noting something randomly, but what she got from the conversation was the name Arko Vess, a Twi’lek staying around the lowest level of the city. Lyy then saw the Lord Vader seal out of the corner of her eye and firmly stepped away, deciding she had gotten enough information.

Lyy then saw the man exit the club and considered if she should follow him, but quickly decided against as she remembered the seal. She then pulled the datapad away and fished out a Deathstick and put it between her lips before lighting it. Took a deep drag from the stick as she stood, satisfied with that she now had a name she could ask around about.

olis - March 16, 2007 04:41 PM (GMT)
Olis entered the bar and glanced around, she spotted that Kiffar woman again and walked over to her. Smiling at her only 'friend' in the entire galaxy she trotted over and smiled. Today Olis was wearing her slightly more customary black leather, with her jacket over the top sipped only half way.

"Ryma'allesh Ice...fancy seeing you here again" she said with a grin.
