You say in the rules that you should only write six lines per post to avoid god moding but when i made my first rpg sample (Tatooien) i found this to be weary hard but of course it helped that Cedric posted within seconds after but what do i do if Cedric or you don't have time for all? :blink:

We meant it just as a guideline, if no one is around for you to interact with then just have your character on her own adventure. you can start your own thread in the area you choose on Tatooine and just have it be about her. You can go into any detail you want

One more thing or two.
First how long time has to pas before your character can leave a area and come to another sample: Twi wake up early the suns was shining as intense as always wile she dressed. "what to should i do today?" she mumbled to herself as she walk out of the refugee center after glaring at the rude man who had stared at her last night with those eyes she hated so much. She strolled around in the streets before settling "maybe ill try Jabba today? She searched for a transport and after some minutes she was on her way to the famous place. Do i have to wait before someone tels me im there or can i just jump right over there (of course while i am soloing in a group this would be settled between members right?)
Second is the time in the rpg the same as in real life?

Yes this forum is just starting, so to make sure it gets busy enough, we should allow more and longer posts, so don't feel like you are limited when you write. When the game gets a lot more busy it's just that you have to give other members the chance to post too. Now it's still very calm, so that is not a problem yet.

It's important that you read other's people's posts, so that you have a basic idea what time it is. That includes for everybody. I don't think you should state in your post if it's day or night, but when you go to sleep wait a few hours to post again, or either post a bit later that you can't sleep.

lol ok but i think it would be best if the one i control of the planet (you or Tori) could say what time it is. Tatooien has two suns right does it have two moons to and were are they at the different times of the day?

It really doesnt matter so much what time it is.... Just be as realistic as you can depending on the events of your character..... Personanlly I dont think everyone is going to stick to the same time anyway..... So don;t worry about it ;)

Yes I can post if it's daytime or not, but like Padmé said it's not that important. Keep it realistic. And may I please remind you to especially keep the spelling of star wars terms right: It's "Tatooine";) Sorry we're very strict with this ;)

Can your character die of age is so how long can a twilek live?

It is up to you how long your character lives..... However, as said in the rules, if your character is not active for a month with no explaination about your own ability to not post, then we will assume the character is dead and move it to the Character Graveyard

but what is someone are going to be away for a month or two what will happen to the character? Will they become NPC's or will they just fall into a coma (soap opera ^^)

Well if you are going to be going a way for a time, then say so on the "Absences" forum. Just state that you will be away and for how long, then your character will remain safe and dormant. Then once you return you can begin where you left off

edit: indeed...the problem was that members only could upload pictures of 0 kb. I've increased the size, so you should be able to upload pictures now.

I was looking over the programs of study offered by each school and I was wondering is it possible to go to two schools at the same time or would it be one school at a time? The reason why is because I'd like my character to first go to the school of politics and then for law. Thanks.

Since we won't make it like real school, it won't take you like a whole year till you graduate...it will only take like a week or two...but like in real life, it takes a lot of time, but not in posting, so you can only do one course, but it wont take long to graduate, depending on what you're studying and yes there are certain levels in the studying. Cause senators will probably have to do a few extra years in politics.

Ummm...where did our chat go? That's one of the things I like about this board. Especially when it gets to the point of there being a lot of intereaction between characters, it'll help avoid bad autoing issues. And it's just kinda nice to have.

I had a question concerning the history of this RPG. Considering my character Phoebe is studying to become a senator I thought it best that she have some sort of device like say a microchip which has stored all of the history of each galaxy, the senators, current events, and etc. Is their some sort of device like this in the Star Wars World? I've looked on Wookieepedia and haven't found anything. Thanks.

Nothing I've ever come across, at least not in the form you are thinking. Of course there are very comprehensive libraries. Couruscant has a pretty big library. Perhaps when you guys get around to adding planets, you could have Obra-Skai. The entire planet is a library, which would make it useful for whatever you want the microchip thing for. But that is obviously something that would come later, if at all.

Perhaps there could be a thread for the library on Coruscant for now, if there isn't already.

I have to look it up, but I think its best since its unknown that they learn like clonetroopers in episode II....They use computers and sort of like headphones, but I'll look it up and see what I can find.

Two questions.

First, when certain events which advance the galactic scenario occur, will there be something said in this subforum to direct our attention to said events? Like "Hey guys, check here. This is important."

Secondly, in the bounty hunter training camp on Mandalore, is there a a thread which will list the training hunts we can go on, or do you want us to just wing that. I pretty much understand that the other training is pretty much think of something and do it, but I didn't know if we were supposed to only do hunts that are actually posted by ya'all.

First answer: To announce certain events which will be invented they will be posted on the holonet. At the moment already certain events are taking place. Depending on your freedom you can continue the story of that event, but you will certainly have to mind what other members post about it too of course, otherwise the story could get mixed up and eventually get different storylines and different endings.

Second: Yes I posted an example of what kind of missions there are, namely to hunt or kill people in the jungle or find certain objects. But imo I shouldn't be the one posting these missions all the time. First of all it would be really difficult for me to keep this up and second if you decide for yourself what kind of mission you want to do, it will certainly allow you more freedom in what you do on the rpg and it would certainly show us if you have imagination, cause that is very important for us to know so we can know if the time would be right to promote you. It all depends on your imagination, creativity and effort.

OK, I just didn't want to go after a self made hunt and get in trouble for it. Figured I'd make sure of that first.

Another interesting question, will other characters, presumably the poititans and such but possibly any of the others as well, put out their own bounties for people? Could they presumable put bounties on other characters' heads, so that us bounty hunter's would be chasing down actual characters rather than NPC's?

anybody can hire bounty hunters...If somebody hires a bounty hunter to kill, hunt or other for another mission they will have a reason for it, so they won't come out of the blue and hire somebody.

why is the Chat Box,located at the bottom,gone? It might be my computer messing up again but I don't think it is.

If there is ever an issue with the chatbox, that has nothing to do with us, it had disappeared for other forums too so it must have been a major problem with that site who provides them

when I click on the Heading (big cool picture at the top) to go to the main section,it says 'Cannot Display Webpage' is it because the link is messing up?

I've been doing alot of editing of the heading earlier, I've changed it so that now the heading will rotate between different images, it's to do with a plan Anakin and I have. We are going to have 4 different headings with 4 themes:

1: Sith and The Empire
2: Jedi and The Rebellion
3: Bounty Hunters and your basic scum and villians ;)
4: Senators and Royals


So that the forum has more depth to it, and shows the universe and the timeline clearly in which we are playing.

If it continues then I'd just not click on the heading at all to get back to the main page, just use the other links as I do. I've never used to heading as a way to get back anyway lol
