Title: Sugababes - Low (Unreleased Track)
In Denial - October 18, 2009 12:52 PM (GMT)
An old unreleased track called "Low" has leaked. It features both Mutya's and Keisha's vocals but the third vocal is neither Heidi or Siobhan.
It may of been recorded during the line-up change before Heidi joined.

I think it sounds really good! The other girl's parts would definitely suit Heidi's vocals, so I think you're right - this could have been something from during the lineup change.

It could also just be a session vocalist they hired because Heidi wasn't available to record the demo. Are you sure it's an unreleased Angels track? Because its style fits more with Three, I think, especially the b-sides from that era.

I don't know when it's from. I just guessed.

This is a perfect example of the Sugababes i love
The urban, grungy, garage pop moody vocals babes
the ones that dance moves meant swaying from side to side
with a moody face.
I prefer this song above anything from Change, that other one
and Sweet 7 as of yet.
i realize that sounds ridiculous
but i adore this Sugababes sound.
Cheers for posting!

How did you find this? This is very good! This sounds very "Angels With Dirty Faces". :angel
LittleSugababe - October 18, 2009 01:41 PM (GMT)
This is an example of CLASSIC SUGABABES.
The reason I loved them in the first place.
Their credibility.
Their "street" edge.
Their grungy, garge style ... VERY URBAN, VERY 'CLASSIC' SUGABABES
With the fierce beat in the chorus....
Moody... Tough.. In-your-face attitude..
I MISS THIS. :'(

WHOA.
Mutya & Keisha sound amazing and even that random!
This is what Sugababes were about.

I liked that song! The other girl sounded good too, probably just a session vocalist, maybe someone can ask one of the Sugababes?
Robert - October 18, 2009 04:33 PM (GMT)
After a few more listens I definitely think this was from the Three era.
AmelleLover26m - October 18, 2009 05:03 PM (GMT)
AWDF / Three id say but I really like it - its always cool when new random tracks appear :P

I think it may be about masterbation...
"I touch myself again,
It's not as good as the real thing
Cos there's only one way out and I gotta get you down
I just wanna take it low baby low
Come where angels never go
Nobody ever needs to know
Cos I don't want to be alone tonight"

Keisha is twittering about the song:
Hold up a sec.... ha ha ha ha ha what the hec.... Where and what is this "Low" track about?... Ive never recorded that song??!!!...
I think some1 has taken my vocals from an old song on the "One touch" album, or a demo and placed it on this "low" track...
Sooo weird LMAO....The song is a no no & who the hec is the 3rd person singing?! Ha ha Calling mutya 2morrow 2 see if im going nuts lol
My mum thinks its a demo from when we were 14....Errrr why cant i remember it?!!! ha ha ha ha.. Still in denial until i see evidence mate!
Seems strange that she doesn't remember it...of course, she probably recorded so many demos over the years that they all blur together.
If it really is from when they were 14, why wasn't Siobhan there? Keisha was the last one to join the band.
mitsuhoney - October 18, 2009 11:35 PM (GMT)
LOL!
Keisha is just too hilarious! I love her more and more! :keisha:
Hyller - October 19, 2009 12:41 AM (GMT)
LOOOL I LOVE KEISHA SO MUCH!!
I think she didnt even remember that they did a cover of Teardrops! because some1 asked her and she said she never recorded a song with that title! LOL ... I bet they have already recorded hundreds of songs so it's normal that they dont always remember stuff they did almost 10 years ago.

This has been posted on Sugababes Spain very weird...
Malú - Jugar Con Fuega (Take It Low)
rmssw - October 20, 2009 08:09 PM (GMT)
It's not weird. It explains the situation. Someone wrote the song, the Sugababes' management got a hold of it and gave it to the band to record as a demo (apparently without Siobhan/Heidi being available when they had the studio booked), the record label passed on it, so the song eventually wound up being recorded by this girl. A lot of songs get passed around from artist to artist like that until someone's record label finally agrees to release it.
Siofan91 - October 20, 2009 08:15 PM (GMT)
I didn't meant weird in a bad way ;)
Thank's for the info.
Rich - October 20, 2009 08:53 PM (GMT)
I quite like the song, sad that they didn't end up recording it, it'd fit really well with the Three B Sides
Also the session vocalist or whoever sounds similar to Heidi - before I get attacked with the "No she does not" etc, I mean the tone of her voice and stuff, as if they chose someone who could sing the same parts as Heidi.
