EX-"Sugababes" star, Mutya Buena is coming to Israel to record new songs for a musical project in Israel which deals with "Camden Town" market in London. Behind the project stands businessman Bebo Kobo.
"...The goal is to record an album of covers of rock songs from famous rock acts such as U2 and Iron Maden.... Buena will sing all the songs on the album in a chill-out-lounge style and the CD will be disturbed in the market in London..."
The rest of the article is Mutya's musical history so i didn't bother translating....
Pics from the recordings will probably be available next week

This sounds really nice, I like her covers of Naive and Fast Car more than the originals, it'd be good to see what she came up with!

Id much rather have an album of NEW Mutya tracks instead of covers, but I guess its better than nothing. I cant wait!! I liked her version of 'Fast Car' and her rendition of 'Naive' is quite unique as well.

I can't wait for this! :D
And don't worry LittleSugababe, she'll be doing her own album release soon too. (info from her manager)

Mutya is one of my favourite f the former Sugababes club, I like listening to her album when I'm having a slow day but I always skip Song 4 Mutya by Mutya, because the video was not to my taste.
I can only hope she doesn't promote this album by standing in a field with a bunch of drugged up students. She might catch something.
I look forward to it, no really, really I do. :mutya:

This is AMAZING news! So we could get an album of covers and a regular solo album? That's great news! I wish other artists did more side projects or in the age of declining sales, release an album of B-Sides. It could even be a collection of already released B-Sides with a couple new tracks thrown in. It's so much better than never using them which is a waste of money. Some producers charge hundreds of thousands of dollars for a track and when you don't use it in any way you simply lose money.

The first confirmed cover is "Anybody Seen My Baby" by The Rolling Stones. Here's a video of Mutya recording it in the studio:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSJHP99qs_sI love it! :D Can't wait to hear the other 4 tracks.

I like her live vocals, and the song sounds dismal, but I guess it was just the beginning.

Did she shave a little bit of the side of her head? :P
Dont get me wrong, I like it. I just wanna know if she shaved it or if she just moved all her hair to one side. (but I can clearly see its shaved lol)
Can any1 confirm?
