Suga and nice at last

SUGABABES rang me yesterday to insist all is well - despite the trio cancelling their first live appearance with new girl JADE EWEN.
The girls have pulled out of the Scottish Royal Variety Show tomorrow but insist there are no band problems, it's a "legal issue".

Jade said: "I haven't signed a contract so we can't perform as Sugababes. The previous line-up signed up to do the show and there's money involved. Until lawyers get this sorted I can't sing with the band. It's really annoying - I'm raring to go." Manager Mark Hargreaves said: "This was an unavoidable decision of a contractual nature."

There's never a dull day for those girls.

As a goodwill gesture Sugababes say they will do a show for the Royal Blind Society, the Scottish Royal Variety's chosen partner. Jade's dad is blind and her mum is partially sighted.
