So i wasn't to excited for this album
but since hearing the megamix I'm flabbergasted
EVERY song is STUNNING

every track is brilliant!
FIO is easily THE WORST track on the album.
Ridiculous

Im a big supporter of them and basically knowthe words to every song in chasing lights except 1 or 2

but based on the clips i am not too happy :( i dont hearanything standout
but i always wait to have the full thing to make a full judgement

seems rushed tho, especially tacking on "Not good enough" which leaked over a year ago! I like the demo version way more

Lose Control is frikkin amazing in that clip. I already love Wordshaker, One Shot, Ego, Here Standing and Forever Is Over. Open Up sounds good too.

To be honest almost all these clips sound pretty shit. Only Echo and FIO sound quite good. Im very dissaponited. I hope it might grow on me though.

My 1st impressions of 'Wordshaker'

Forever Is Over - This song has grown on me a lot since the premiere. It sounds more 'Saturdays' with every listen and the extra part at the beginning on the album version is brilliant. 4/5
Here Standing - A beautiful ballad, the vocals all suit this song. I hope it isn't the 2nd single though as I think we need something more uptempo but I wouldn't be devastated if it was, it's a lovely song. 4/5
Ego - Now we're onto the good stuff! Such a great song, this feels much more like what The Sats should be doing, I love Vanessa's middle 8 here, hope it becomes a single. 5/5
No One - Dips now, first track which says filler to me. It's OK but would suit more as a b-side. 3/5
One Shot - Loved this from the tour and the studio version is even better. Mollie's middle 8 before Vanessa's big note is AMAZING would love this to be a single. 5/5
Wordshaker - Brilliant. Just brilliant. Screams 2nd single to me and that intro should have secured this a track 1 placing on the album. Definitely my favourite so far. 5/5
Denial - Hmm, it's nice but it's really American sounding, 'Unofficial' was the same but the lyrics and vocals were so much better in that. Could be better. 3/5
Open Up - I love this song, really uplifting and put a smile on my face, great lyrics. 4.5/5
Lose Control - Again, a great uptempo number, I love the chorus on this and the intro really does remind of a Womanizer/Biology mash-up. 4.5/5
Not Good Enough - Liked this when it leaked last year and the extra touches they've made have really polished the song up. 4/5
Deeper - Can't remember how this one goes, (I'm writing this after listening through the album) which means it's not a stand out for me, I don't particulary have the urge to go and listen to see what it sounds like either, would rather listen to 'Wordshaker' or 'Ego' again. 2.5/5
2AM - 'Why Me Why Now' part 2. A nice close to the album, nothing special though really, again more b-side material. 3.5/5

Overall, a good 2nd album, at the minute I still prefer 'Chasing Lights' but of course this is 1st impressions. The best track here is clearly 'Wordshaker' and should be a single. The bonus live tracks at the end are a nice extra as well.

My only complaint is that all the songs sound really similar
and most of them have near identical intro's haha

Very very strong album. Insanely strong. FIO is a complete red herring. I was expecting a crappy, rocky album, boring really. But I am so surprised. I love practically all tracs 2-12. Lol. Love the intro to Wordshaker. Remids me of Get Sexy. Love love love Lose Control. Cannot get over how amazing that song is. Love Open Up as well!

Most of the tracks have 5/5, Denial and Deeper have 4. Not Good Enough has 3 and FIO has 2. Very good album. Very happy. The better of their 2 albums, for sure!

Can't stop listening. Need to get a physical copy! :D

Well, I am absolutely blown away.
My favourite album.. ever.
This seriously beats Kelly Clarkson for me and anyone who knows me will be shocked by that!
Chasing Lights was like my god for a year and I think this shits all over it.
It's so smooth and polished and is still SO pop, but loads of different off roads.
They go from sexy, to cute, to a little cheesy. And the lyrics in the songs are totally relatable.
I actually PMSL'd at the fact "Open Up" is about going out, getting pissed and your gf/bf has locked you out cos you're drunk LOL!
All in all... 10/10
There's no filler, all killer.

1. Forever Is Over - I instantly loved this track. Unlike most people here, I am still really enjoying it. 9/10
2. Here Standing - One word, brilliant! Vanessa's vocals are epic at the end. I'm hoping this will be the 'Issues' of this era. 10/10
3. Ego - I love it! This must be released as a single. 10/10
4. No One - This is a good track but there are better on the album. 7/10
5. One Shot - Easily my favourite track on the album. This is the one track that must get a release. On tour it was amazing, but the studio version is epic! 10/10
6. Wordshaker - My second favourite track. I like the new sound of the studio version, although on tour it was great. 10/10
7. Denial - A good track, but like No One, there are better. I'm hoping it will grow on me more after a few more listens. 8/10
8. Open Up - You can see that Mollie's voice has improved a lot on this track. 8/10
9. Lose Control - Love it! It's tied my second favourite track on the album. Would love for it to be a single, but I'm not sure it would do well. 10/10
10. Not Good Enough - This is a good track, but I don't think I will listen to it that much. 7/10
11. Deeper - This song seems to remind me of S Club 7 for some reason! A really nice song. 9/10
12. 2 a.m. - For me, this is the Why Me Why Now of the album. Really great vocals on this, especially from Mollie. 9/10

Overall: This album is amazing. They have improved a lot since Chasing Lights. 9/10

1.Forever Is Over - I have always had a hate for this track. I don't like that they tried to go for the faux-rock sound which doesn't suit them (except Una) at all. 2/5
2. Here Standing - The vocals on the track are brilliant but the song itself sounds like a cheap rip-off of "No Air". Annoyed that it's the second single. 2/5
3. Ego - Another mid-tempo . I like the electronic parts throughout the song and both Frankie and Mollie (for once) sound really good. I find it quite boring though. 3/5
4. No One - This song screams filler. I can easily say all their b-sdies are better than this. Bland track. 2/5
5. One Shot - Now this is like it! Up-tempo electronic pop with an extremely catchy chorus. Absolutely adore this one. 5/5
6. Worshaker - Intro is good. I'm not sure about this one. The chorus is good but it doesn't really go anywhere and the verses are fairly boring. 3/5 at the moment
7. Denial - I actually forgot about this one which isn't a very good sign. The chorus reminds me of "Lies" for some reason. I really like the middle eight. 3/5
8. Open Up - What a cheesy track! I'd expect something like this in an Hannah Montana soundtrack. Not impresed. 2/5
9. Lose Control- I adore the "oooo-ooo-ooo" and "I should be the face of every fashion magazine" parts but Vanessa's voice really annoys me in this track. 3/5.
10. Not Good Enough - I like the make-over it has had because it's made the song even better. 4/5.
11. Deeper - Another boring track. Probably one of the worst tracks they've ever done. 1/5
12. 2 a.m - It's like they've tried to make another "Why Me, Why Now" but failed. It's a nice song but that's all. 2/5.

Overall this album isn't that good at all which is such a dissapointment because I really had high expectations for this. Chasing Lights is much much better in my opinon. Must try harder Sats!

They really surprised me with this album. It's a proper grower with a few duds here and there, but other than that it's pretty solid.

I was kind of hoping that they would keep the rawness of FIO, but they didnt. However, they album isn't too polished.

Forever Is Over Not loving the album version intro and outro. Still think this is a brave choice and a brilliant song. 8/10.
Here Standing Really liked the demo of this and I love the girls' version. Una sounds amazing. Only reason it's not getting a high mark is because it sounds a hell of a lot like No Air, which I think is a better song, and because I think Frankie's vocal is appalling. 7.5/10.
Ego My favourite song from the album. So damned catchy None of the tracks on this album are getting a 10/10 from me because they can all be improved slightly (or majorly). 9/10.
No One This is one of the 3 songs I don't listen to on the album. Frankie is again appalling on this song. 2/10.
One Shot Another fabulous song. Unfortunately it's getting marked down for not being fast enough and for me having to speed it up. 8.5/10.
Wordshaker Again, a brilliant song. Frankie spoils it as usual. The fade out really pisses me off. I hate fade outs. 8.5/10.
Denial Didn't "get" this song at first. I now really like it. Could easily fit onto Chasing Lights though. 7/10.
Open Up I love this. Totally Miley Cyrus but better because it's The Saturdays. 7.5/10.
Lose Control So so close to being my favourite song from the album. The High School Musical lyrics let it down for me. 9/10.
Not Good Enough Loved the early version of it, still love it. A little bit peeved that it's on the album but never mind...7/10.
Deeper I've listened to it about twice. Not good enough. 3.5/10.
2 a.m. I hated Why Me Why Now before I saw it live, and I hate this song. I expect to love it when/if they do it live. 3/10.

Overall I think it's a solid effort. Only dislike 3 songs on the album which is pretty good going!
