I just discovered that last.fm has a really nifty feature which allows you to see your top albums. I was pretty shocked by my results...
I think that when I hear of a new girl group (Monrose, Danity Kane etc) I overplay their records and that bumps them up.
Also when Sugababes and Girls Aloud get a new album out I overplay them which may explain why the newer records are at the top... the ones I was obsessed with before I got my last.fm are lagging behind.
