I think this is probably all an elobatore plan by the PR agents to make Amelle Berabbah into the new Cheryl Tweedy. Because there are three key reasons.
A) Amelle is a bigger star than Karim Kerbouche who I do not know of anyway. Like Ashlee Cole.
B) Amelle has been taking the lead like when Ashley Cole got on the X Factor and anyway that's neither here nor there, because Get Sexy is nothing like the X Factor. Imagine Diana Vickers, claw asunder singing how sexy people called at her when in a two piece at the beach.
Would Eoghan Quigg ever be Sugar like apple pie, would Ruth Lorenzo take you to Paradi? NO.

Anyway, I don't see what the point in pretending she is dating a Hockey player is when they aren't even famous. So why would people pretend? It's blatantly obvious that this is a truthul story.
