I do not post much at all. I used to run many spice girls and sugababes fan sites...but coming into my adult years I feel that I had to step away, but growing, as I am, as a fan from the front start with siobhan....how has your love/passion for the sugababes affected your life?

I'm not doing some pysco-analytical study or anything, I just want to find out if people have gone thru what I've gone thru growing up with a pop band.

I started out at a young raver, heavy into house and trance music...and then I heard my first Overload mix. It was a mix with Missy Elliot "Lick Shots". I loved them from the get go. Soul Sound had my heart and it just grew from there. When Siobhan left and Heidi came aboard, she instantly became the love of my life. I wanted to marry her, and I like guys! haha. So...

I just want to hear from other lifelong sugababes lovers, the moment they fell in love and why they keep loving them... Is there one special song...one special event...one special moment...what keeps you from growing out of the sugababes phase?

I am just addicted to them. Cant.Life.Without.Them.
They are my life, my inspiration, my all.
I never loved a artist / band SO much as them.

It all started in 2002 with the Round Round video, I loved Heidi's part :P. But the problem was that I didn't know which group it was. With Hole In The Head (I thought that Hole In The Head was the 2nd single of AWTF :P) I knew that it was Sugababes and I loved the name but I thought "Did they forgot the R in the name?". Hole In The Head was in my mind, I sang it the whooooole time.

But I never was a huge fan of them till I won 'Taller In More Ways -> The Deluxe Version' at 'Life & Cooking'. I had heard 'Push The Button' and 'Ugly' and I loved them, when I won the album I was like 'Okaay, Sugababes .. I give it a go'. LOL and I didn't like the album at all when I listened to it for the first time. But I had to listen to it many times because I HAD to love it :P And I did!

Mutya left and the most amazing 'babe Amelle joined.
I never saw her untill she sang with the 'babes at 'Idols 2006' .. and she was SO sweet, her laugh and her face were so beautiful and cool :D. I found a new love for them.

I got into Sugababes since Amelle joined, I buyed 'Taller In More Ways' and I was pissed that there were only 3 re-recorded songs and 1 new song :P Wanted to smash the album out of the window but I felt guilty for the 'babes then :P. I checked the official site many times and I wanted to make a own site too, but I just knew that I had to start from the beginning, and I did that in November 2006.

I heard 'Easy' (yes very very late, but I didn't know that there was a new single from them because I didn't check the forums. And I checked the official site often) in November 2006 and I was like .. STUNNING! I started to work on a site SB Online, and it was online, with 10 visits in a week! :P

I also won tickets for a performance of the 'babes on the first row. That was the first time that I saw the babes live, but they didn't sang live .. and that was a pity.

Well in 2007 I changed SB Online to SugababesNL and when 'About You Now' came I promoted the site etc. And till 2008 I had that one. I changed it to Suganet and you all know what's happened and what is going to happen.


I just want to say that my love never dies, I always get my inspiration out of the babes and their songs. I love all the news, gossip and little things from them. And I hope that they will go around verrrry long.

Sugababes ...

They are without a doubt the best group ever! They are my inspiration!

It started in 2002 with Round Round. I heard it on the radio once and thought it was incredible. I didn't have a clue who it was though! :lol: After that, I started to look around for them in the shops more often. I bought 'Angels With Dirty Faces', and thought it was just out of this world. After I started getting the singles for 'S/AWDF' and 'Shape', along with their previous releases.

After the release of 'Shape', I sorta lost interest in them, since it was a long time until the release of 'HITH'. But when that came out, I was back on the Sugas! I started to get back into them, buying 'Three' etc. However, I wasn't as interested as I was with the 'AWDF' era. Once again, after the release of 'ITM' and 'CIAM', I lost interest in them, since I didn't hear about them for months!

With the 'TIMW' era, I thought it was their best album yet! Incredible tracks on the album, after that I just loved them!

Even though Mutya left during the era, they brought in the best babe ever, Amelle!

When I heard the new version of 'Red Dress', I just loved Amelle, as well as my biggest love for any band! The line-up is without a doubt the best they can get ever.

My love for the Babes will never fade away, I'm just too lost in them. :P

:D Well! It all started in 2007! when Take that were touring! My mum my sister and my cousion were all going to go. (this was there comback tour) But all the tickets sold to fast :D THANK GOD though!

I got home and was crying (dont ask why i dont think i knew how amazing the girls were) and my dad said he got tickets for the Sugababes instead! i wasnt to happy :o and i said some things about them that i regreted! but then when i listened to there music and wached them live on telly i was like! WOW! Stuff take that just look at them! I coudnt wait untill the concert! my first EVER one!

We went to wembly arena it was there last greatest hits tour! i got a programme,A t-shirts and Keyring. A signed picture and A humungus poster! and BAM i went crazy about them.

I hate myself for saying that stuff about them without even seeing them, its taught me now not to judge people! And i didnt know how amazing those girls were!

After the concert i couldnt stop talking about them.
Thats when i went onto the Sugababes OFfical Forum! and i havnt looked back since!

I have TRIED! websites about them i have read the books i have there merchendice.

Also i won tickets to see them at the indigo 02. My sister got an email on the DAY saying we had won! :angry: i missed them :'(

But....I saw there Change tour at the Royal Albert hall! and loved that.

Soon i am seeing them at Thetford! and gonna try and meet them.

The babes are just...AMAZING! i cant think of anything else! they are part of my life!

Its strange how i got into the Sugababes because as alot of you know, im very into my, rock, progressive rock, metal etc. I remeber flicking through the music channels in around 2002 and Freak Like Me was Number 1 and i thought i recognise this tune its really catchy! I then looked at my album collection and remebered Gary Numan - Are Friends Electric brilliant song. Anyways i did not actually buy a Sugababes album til about 2006, when i saw Taller In More Ways with Amelle on the Front Cover. It was 2 albums for £10 so i bought that and Angels With Dirty Faces! Since then i have been hooked.

I am a big fan of the current line up as the 3 times i have seen the Babes its been Keisha, Amelle & Heidi and i have kept a close eye on upcoming releases etc since 2006!!

I wouldnt say im the hugest fan, i love the girls and their music , have all their albums and seen them 3 times, but still my favourite bands ever are Genesis, Status Quo, Rush, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Black Sabbath etc!
