In all honesty i don't really believe it has any effect on your character
and i find horoscopes to vague
but i have an open mind!

Actually it has an effect on your character as your birth horoscope describes a very important aspect of your psychological function, also called the 'birth potential'.

I'm talkin' 'bout the birth horoscope and not the cheap predictions in any magazines or so. You'll be surprised how much you can relate to your profile.

Well, your Taurus sign doesn't reveal too much I'm afraid. Look at it in combination with your ascendant and the moon constellation and you're much wiser.

I'll give you a short example with Joel's data.

He's a Leo.

His ascendant is Leo too.

The rising sign (= ascendant) describes your behavior towards the world outside. How people see you and take notice of you. Whereas the star sign is a vague description of your inner self. Your personal YOU. Many people won't see it. You own it and you decide whether people will notice that you're a Taurus or not.

Joel is in both cases a Leo, so he probably can't hide. ;) He's proud and prudent on the in- and outside.

Now let's take a look at his moon constellation.

At the time he was born, the moon was in the the sign Virgo which is known for great working ethos.

The moon influences Joel in his behavior and manners. We all know he's passionate at what he does and he feels most proud and invincible (typical traits of a Leo) when he is working hard and having success in return (typical traits of a Virgo).

The moon is also the planet of emotions. So Joel's way of feeling emotions is 'Virgo-typical'.

Hmmm, everything you described about him is pretty vague
and similar to ALOT of people, that star sign or not

I wasn't convinced either until I had 40 pages about myself, printed in my own hands.

You can obviously go further than that. Look at how the planets are standing to each ither. In Sextils, Oppositions etc. and it will reveal even more of your birth potential. But I'm not going that far. I have about six planets I analyse because they're the most important ones in my opinion.

MERCURY - how do you think?

MARS - how do you act?

VENUS - how do you love?

MOON - how do you feel?

SATURN - what limits you?

JUPITER - what expands you?

Having said, your 'birth potential' is very dependant of your surrounding! You have to be perfectly free and unlimited to really fulfill everything your horoscope says. And therefore it's rather vague.

So was my example with Joel, but believe me, I don't think his profile would really fit me or you if we had a more precise look on it.

You have a very vague moon position btw. It's in between house 3 and 4, so either description could be true.

I've crossed out all the speculative things in my birth horoscope to make it more correct. But I think mine is about 90% true.

It's now 9 months I think :) I've been doing this out of boredom when I was in art school. Out of interest because my very first lover was the same sign as me and quite proud of it. He believed in his traits as a born Leo and I started to be interested in this topic as well.

At first I was only focused on my own sign of course, but I soon learned about them all and their habits/behaviors. It's really interesting, though you can't say f.e. that Aquarius are all this way. That's certainly wrong.

Thanks for my reading! It was interesting. Some of it seemed very right, but some of it was quite wrong too. I guess in some ways I'm not a 'typical' Leo, which is why I was curious to see if some of these traits would be different in a more in-depth reading.

But I've noticed that you're pretty firy overall. You're at least more a typical Leo than me, because I have so many planets in water signs, which is very contradictory.

But nice to see that you've enjoyed reading it :D

I've just read that Leos could 'cry over their idealism'. :D I think that is so true! My imagination sometimes is like some sort of fairy tale. :P The heroes, the thieves, the prince charmings and the happy end at last.
