Title: Mutya Leaves Crown Music Management

Mutya has now been removed from the Crown Music Management homepage, so I assume it's pretty safe to say that she's left. I think this has been a fairly recent thing, because they re-vamped their site a couple of months ago and her name was still on it then.

They were no good anyway. Aside from the final Real Girl tracklisting and poor single formats with Island, they were to blame for the SHIT promotion. Crown were a big reason why Mut actually flopped, so I suppose it's a good thing she's left.

This gives her an opportunity to make sure everything is completely prepared promotional wise for the second record, whether she decides to manage herself, or find a new (and much better) company.

Well Facination are all pop. Saturdays, Girls Aloud so she stood stay away from them.

EMI are quite good as are Columbia - so maybe she could try them. Let's hope this gives her the carear boost she has been waiting for.

I could be wrong but isn't Crown Music a management company and not a record label? We know that she was dropped from Island and developed her own company Real Girl Productions, so no doubt she would launch her solo career with her own label.

Either way I totally support her decision because they screwed her over too many times in my opinion.

Crown Music Management are a management company. She actually stayed with them after she was dropped by Island, but she's obviously decided to do it herself now. It's not a surprise at all, and I'm pretty happy about it - aslong as she knows what she's doing.

I'm glad that Mutya has left Crown Music. I don't think that have managed her properly.
The Sugababes should do the same.
