Heidi Range's Kidnap Threat

Heidi Range's family would "kidnap" her if she went off the rails.

The Sugababes star insists she could never have a drug addiction or miss shows like Amy Winehouse because her parents would punish her severely.

She admitted: "My mum said she would kidnap me if I was like Amy Winehouse. She said, 'If that was you I'd get you in a car and lock you away somewhere.' "

The blonde singer also revealed the band is planning to take a break from music next year.

She added: "Hopefully we are going to get two months off next year. I'm literally going to hire a villa for a month and fly over to Italy and just say to whoever, 'Fly over when you want to see me.'"

Heidi - who has moved in with her boyfriend, British TV presenter Dave Berry - recently insisted she has no plans to get married just yet.

The 25-year-old star said: "I seriously doubt Dave will propose. We're happy as we are, so why would we want to change it?"
