THE PERFECT SONG ON THE ALBUM.

The sweet combination of the music and their vocals makes me want to cry!!!

The lyrics are amazing.

I just realised on Amelle's last verse she says 'arrivederci' which means 'Goodbye' in Italian lol

Pronounciation isn't quite right though. ;)

Boy 1 Was Famous From TV
He Carved My Name Into A Tree
First Cut's The Deepest
And I Left Him Bleeding

Boy 2 Had Earned A Law Degree
He Charged Me With A Felony
I Stole His Heart
And Pled Insanity

I Know Nothing Lasts Eternal In Life
But Love Hurts Forever

Boy 3 Worked At The Cementry
His Crooked Smile Was Kind Of Sweet
All Things Must End Now
He Rests Six Feet Deep

Boy 4 Was Filthy Rich Indeed
He Flew A Private Jet
But See He Crashed And Burned
There's Just No Buying Me

I Know Nothing Lasts Eternal In Life
But Love Hurts Forever

Every Heart That's Broken
Is A Muder One
Looking Down The Barrel Of A Smoking Gun
Have Mercy On Me
Now The Deed Is Done
Coz Every Heart That's Broken
Is A Murder One

Boy 5 Composed A Symphony
Strings And Choir Just For Me
Then He Turnt Deaf
It Was A Tragedy

Boy 6 Lived In A Monestry
He Chose A Life Of Poverty
I Chose Chanel
So Much For Chastity

I Know Nothing Lasts Eternal In Life
But Love Hurts Forever

Every Heart That's Broken
Is A Muder One
Looking Down The Barrel Of A Smoking Gun
Have Mercy On Me
Now The Deed Is Done
Coz Every Heart That's Broken
Is A Murder One

Every Heart That's Broken
Is A Muder One
Looking Down The Barrel Of A Smoking Gun
Have Mercy On Me
Now The Deed Is Done
Coz Every Heart That's Broken
Is A Murder One

Boy 7 Was The Don Of All Sicily
Tried To Kiss And Tell On Me
So Now He
Sleeps With The Fishes
Arrivederci Baby

The Last Boy Was A Director On A Sliver Screen
He Went And Wrote A Slasher Flick Just For Me
When He Said Cut
I Took It Literally

Every Heart That's Broken
Is A Muder One
Looking Down The Barrel Of A Smoking Gun
Have Mercy On Me
Now The Deed Is Done
Coz Every Heart That's Broken
Is A Murder One

Every Heart That's Broken
Is A Muder One
Looking Down The Barrel Of A Smoking Gun
Have Mercy On Me
Now The Deed Is Done
Coz Every Heart That's Broken
Is A Murder One

This song is lyrical perfection, I absolutely love it

I was expecting more production at first, but now I am glad about it because it is what makes the song so incredible.

AmelleLover26m - October 17, 2008 08:30 PM (GMT)
The only song I have heard in full.

Boy was I wrong about the sample.

The song reminds me so much of what people really think about different people in different situations.

I can see why the song title was changed but I am glad the actual song lryics were kept. The song is dark, moody and incrediablly moving. Some of the most amazing orchastral music you are ever likely to hear in a Sugababes song too. Some of the production is well done, and the music fades from jumpy in the chorus to sad during the verses in genius.

This looks to be one of those songs that needs to be single but will not be one im betting. All Sugababes songs I find give some sort of message and this one is no different - slightly morbid in a listenable sense, the song is a masterpeice.

I'm betting that 'Every Heart Broken' will be the 'Ace Reject' of Taller In More Ways and the 'Never Gonna Dance Again' of Change and will not get released :(

I LOVE the song.
But the production feels so wrong.
I wish it was just piano and orchestral for the WHOLE first verse.
the whole drum thing entering when Keisha sings is just STUPID.

i don't think it's amazing but it's nice
prefer the live version

ragdoll - October 18, 2008 12:51 PM (GMT)
the lyrics are great but the song is just a little bit boring

This is the second song I cracked and listened to! I love the song and lyrics apart from the chorus which is a let down

I've actually changed my mind, I'm quite over this song.

FIRST IMPRESSION:

I don't think it's one of the best songs the Sugababes have done as some people claimed it. It's quite good indeed, but not perfect. The lyrics are great but I think Amelle's vocals are a mess. This song would've so much better if Heidi had sung it solo like Keisha did it on "Side Chick"...
7/10

First of all, I'd just like to say that Murder One would have been such a better title for the track. It's far more interesting than Every Heart Broken.

But, the song itself doesn't disappoint in the slightest. It took me a little while to get into it, but now I love it. The lyrics are pretty clever, and I like that they are quite light and funny. The big chorus is awesome too, and Heidi's adlibs (I don't know what else to call them) nearer the end are brilliant.

I have a strong feeling that it'll be a single at one point, and that's good, because the girls really put on a perfect live performance, as seen from T4.

Emelle - October 25, 2008 09:28 PM (GMT)
This is my favourite off the album. the lyrics are brilliant, its so different to what they normally do and it just works. The vocals are really good and the whole thing is just perfect.

toolostinyou - October 30, 2008 03:28 PM (GMT)
Many of us have already pointed that out, but these are the best lyrics the 'babes have ever sung... Very creative ...
And the song itself is really awesome.

If this doesnt get released Im afraid about the future of the album, because although there are many good songs on it, EHB is one of the few which should chart well...

krajol - October 30, 2008 04:21 PM (GMT)
Did they make a mistake singing it live @ T4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0aTucPXf4E&feature=related in chorus before Amelle's verses or was it planned?

BTW. I love this song. I wasn't sure about it at the beginning, but well, now I am :D :P

I wondered the same, I guess its because they're supposed to sing the chorus twice before amelle's verse, but that it was either cut or maybe the shorter version is with twice the first line of the chorus, it sounds a bit strange though :P

and like Amelle did on "Beware"
I'd give it 9/10, because I'd prefer Heidi to lead this song. It suits her the most and she doesn't have "solo" track on this album, while K and A do have one.
