| Sugababes star Amelle Berrabah has revealed that she told off a journalist who wrote a fictitious story about the group. A national newspaper claimed the pop trio fell out at a charity fashion event last month, but Berrabah insisted the story was false. "We had the best night ever!" she told DS. "[But]the next day I read in the paper that Heidi was sitting on the floor crying, me and Keisha were having a scrap and I was pushing them both out the way so I could get to the front." The singer was so "wound up" by the article that she decided to confront the journalist responsible for it. "I actually rang up the paper, which is something I never normally do, and had a go at the person who wrote it," she recalled. "I said, 'You're a liar!' and the journalist kept apologising." Berrabah also admitted she "still hasn't got used to" rumours surrounding the Sugababes, despite being a member of the group for nearly three years. |

| Dear Peter Please, please do not be angry with me. I got the information about it from forums, it was made up. I am so so sorry for upsetting you so much. I understand you have told my employers about my conduct and I take full responsibilty for my immature actions. My job as a journalist enlists me to stretch the truth somtimes but on this occasion I can see I over-stepped my marker. I will send Amelle Berrabah and apology as well. Again, my sencere applogies to yourself and any Sugababes fans. Victoria Newton (Sun - Bizzare) |
