Mutya Buena to appear on Celebrity Big Brother?

Mutya Buena could be one of the housemates in the next series of Celebrity Big Brother.

The former Sugababes star, 24, has been approached by bosses who hope she will spice up the show.

‘I will not hold back my mouth for no one,’ she has said in the past.

‘A lot of people judge me for being outspoken. But I just can’t be fake to people.’

Celebrity Big Brother was suspended this year following the race row between Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty in 2007.

Whitney Houston, 45, has also been approached to appear on the show, which is due to start on Channel 4 in January.

I'm a bit torn up about this to be honest. It could be seen as a last ditched effort from Mutya to increase her celebrity profile but at the same time she might get criticised for her behaviour. I don't want that to happen.

I really can't see her leaving Tahlia for however long she'd be on the show for. She doesn't even like leaving her for live performances, never mind Big Brother.

Could you imagine? It'd be AWESOME.

Just think of her reaction if they nominated her, she'd claw everyone apart and then set the house on fire. We need angry Mutya on TV!

I actually watched some interview on youtube that lasted 10 mins,asking her would she like be in something like Big Brother,she says that she doesn't like to be watched and can't leave her daughter home...

Yeah but CBB isn't that long really, so she could still go.

Why cant channel 4 get A-listers in?

Mutya is obv busy and I very much doubt she will take part.

I mean wouldnt it be great to see how Angelia Jolie and Jennifer Aniston cope in the same room together? :D

All she needs is a big hit, and she'll be on her feet again.

By the sounds of it, CBB Is NOT the way to go.

Being a big Sugababes fan I am concerned about this slightly.

I just hope people do not ask her any awkward questions about the past etc. The last thing we want is Heidi or Keisha getting upset over somthing that could be said and twisted then taken out or context by the media.

Mutya is a mature enough person to handle the pressure of it though. I think she will do well and what she does say will be done with respect and dignity. The past is the past and that is that.

People will always pry though.

If only we had something like this over here. lol.

The names of the female celebrities who will be entering the BIG BROTHER house in January have been revealed.

According to the Daily Star, former Liberty X singer MICHELLE HEATON, model LUCY PINDER, SHAMELESS star TINA MALONE and ex-SUGABABE MUTYA BUENA will all appear on the reality show.

The publication also asserts that SHERRIE HEWSON and PAULA HAMILTON will star.

CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER was cancelled in January 2008 due to the race row caused by the 2007 series, however it will return to the small screen on January 2nd 2009.

DAVINA MCCALL will once again helm the reality show, with GEORGE LAMB taking on BIG BROTHER'S LITTLE BROTHER.

The new series of BIG BROTHER is not going to be a 24 hour show, with bosses hoping to avoid any issues such as the JADE GOODY racism row.

However some critics have suggested this will leave fans "short changed", with a source telling the Sun that it is now an entertainment show rather than a reality one.

She looks amazing! She's did really well so far, and I think people are warming to her already. :D
