OK, so me and Luke have just been talking about Keisha's birthday on msn and thought we could make a thread about discussing something to do for her birthday, as it's only just over a month away! =]

Anyway, like Mylan said on the Official forum, we could do her like a birthday book (like Kal did for Mutya) for her putting things like birthday messages from us and graphics etc...me and Luke also thought we could put things in it like quotes from the 'Keisha' thread (on the other forum, could also find ones from this one too) of people saying really nice things about her :)

We thought that since the Q Awards gig is on October 1st, the day after her birthday, we could make the book and give it to her then! Like all of us could give it to her together as it would be from all of us :D

Now we don't want to take control or anything here, but just thought we'd start a thread now so we have time. Luke said he can't print so he wouldn't be able to do it, but I know I'd be willing to print, and we are sure that everybody would love to take part in some way.

There are two types of "Birthday Book" you can create these days.

One is a "Pshycial" Book which comprises of everything ( as you said Natalie ) printed out in hard format on paper, stapled together and presented to the person in person by a fan.

The other is a "Virtual" Book, which is a collection of fan messages and images taken from various sites and forums and usualy sent to the person via email or via some communication channel like myspace or facebook for example.

I think either one would be fantastic, and I am sure Joan will back me up by saying how well the Sugababes Calender Idea came off so I am sure people will be eager to take part. We could however do both ideas, as I know some of us have contact with Keisha via Myspace and although she doesnt check it all the time she is bound to on her birthday as fans will send her comments etc.

It's a brilliant idea, and me too thinks that many will grace this idea.

And just a though, if people don't wanna show their wishes/letter to everyone here, we should have one person who can collect those types of msg.(by pm) so that not the entire board is reading the msg....

I also thought that the person who is going to this gig may not need to print it (but it's be much nicer to do!!!) but only burn a CD with it. It might be done by several people as we can't be sure that one person will be able to give it to Keisha for 100% I guess.

i dont think u should burn it 2 a cd i think a book coz that will be nicer for her and well i just prefer book!

Rachel from the official is doing this and wants all the pieces in by the 23rd of September. (Next Tuesday) so she can put it all together.



PM yor work to me so i can send it to Rach. Send whatever you want (with relevance obv) eg. sigs/artwork, fan pics, messages anything you want.

And plz everyone do something so we actually have something decent to give her, not just a piece of paper with a few lines and a picture or 2 on it!

Just to let you guys know, I've been on the phone to Rachel (the girl who made the book) before, and she managed to give Keisha the book! Apparently Ki was really pleased to get it :D x

Just a little message to everyone who took part in my birthday book! (For those that have missed it, it was my birthday on the 30th of september and my friends AKA Fans made a lovely book full of birthday messages, support, love and pictures of me and them over the years) IT WAS THE SWEETEST THING EVER.....I WAS CRYING AND EVERYTHING LOL.
