Title: Siobhan dropped by Parlophone...
Description: offical & horible
Siofan91 - August 11, 2008 09:20 PM (GMT)
It's now offical and it's horrible aswell.... :'(
''I received an email from a contact at Parlophone today and I can confirm that Siobhan is no longer signed with Parlophone. He did not go into any details, but I'd presume that a lack of commercial success was a pretty large factor in the decision.
I have yet to hear from Siobhan, but hopefully she's positive about the future. This girl is in desperate need of some luck... Though I'm sure you'll all join me in saying Shiv will always have the mighty support of the Donawhores whatever happens!''

OMFG! This is awful!
Parlophone don't have a good track record recently with promo so its hardly Siobhan's fault. I guess we won't have a 3rd album any time soon :(

This is awful.
Parolophone have gone too far now, first All Saints, now Siobhan.
They have NO clue what talent is. :'(

Poor job Parlophone!
Well maybe she can join Real Girl Productions ahah

Only beaten by London Records, they are a terrible label.
I feel so sorry for Siobhan, such a tallent and never given the chance to prove herself. I hope she gets re-signed soon, any label would be mad not to have her on their books. If they have her the chance to promote herself and get her face out and about she will do well.
Its not as though she doesnt want to do this anymore, shes full of raw energy and needs a chance to express it via song.

I expected it, but, she can find a new label! Even if she goes Independent.

she should join polydore. guess they enjoy earning lots of money by releasing lots of stuff [look @ GA, their singles, dvds, bonus CDs, christmas versions, fan editions]
but... siobhan many b-sides... she needs more promotion

What a shame ¬¬
They expected more sales.. but where was the promotion?

The record company doesn't bother with promotion, what do they expect?

I just went on their offical and there is a statement that says they are commited to bringing the best out of all their artists.
So, can I ask you Parlophone, when did that statement go down the toilet?
And why also do you treat all your artists so shockingly bad?

That's f**ed up! :sssh :sssh :sssh
But, you know, i'm pretty darn sure Siobhan is one of those artists, who can make amazing music even in her bedroom with her personal studio and releasing it as free-EPs from time to time... Sadly, it won't happen any time soon.

Yeah, it's been a very very very long time since any I hear from Siobhan herself or sice any news came out so I really don't know what's actually going on but
I miss Siobhan and her music soooo much (I can't tel HOW much....)
I think somebody should try to contact her on MySpace or something....
It's just very sad and without her :(
