CHART-TOPPING girl group Sugababes today became the latest act to sign up to this year’s Summer Pops.

The three-piece, who include Walton-born Heidi Range, will return to the city less than three months after tomorrow’s sold-out gig at the Philharmonic Hall.

It will be their fourth visit to the Pops, which move to the ECHO Arena this year, after previous appearances in 2007, 2006 and 2003.

Range, 24, a former pupil at Maricourt high school, in Maghull, said: “The Summer Pops is always one of my favourite gigs.”

TICKETS go on sale on Thursday April 17 at 9am.

Its cool they do lots of summer gigs... I wish they did more where I live, but they are doing the isle of wight festival so that is somthing.

I got third row tickets :) (Well, my mum did, for my birthday lol)

No thanks to ANY of the ticket websites. They all had rubbish tickets even when they JUST went on sale, cos ticketmaster were saving closer rows for the insanely expensive VIP tickets :rolleyes:

There was 7 of us going so we didn't know if we'd get good seats but we got 7th row middle section, and the arena is bloody massive, so we're really made up!
We panicked thinking all the decent seats would be gone when we got back from school but luckily they were'nt.
