MORE HEARTACHE FOR AMELLE

SUGABABE Amelle Berrabah is suffering fresh heartache after her sister was arrested.


Zakiya Berrabah, 34, is expected to hear tomorrow whether she will be formally charged with assaulting two police officers.



She was given police bail after being allegedly involved in a fracas at Aldershot, Hampshire, earlier this month.



And it has heaped new distress on singer Amelle, 23 – who is still getting over untrue rape allegations made against her boyfriend, Freddie Fuller, by her younger sister Samiya.



Last week, Amelle revealed that she felt as if she had suffered a “nervous breakdown” following the claims.



And she is still reeling from another horrific shock just before Christmas when Freddie, 25, was almost killed in a machete attack in a nightclub.



The Aldershot incident came on March 9. Witnesses claim they were confronted by Zakiya who had turned up at the house of a former friend accompanied by a gang of mates.



Police told Zakiya she was being arrested on suspicion of harassment. And, according to onlookers, she then went “berserk”.



She was arrested on suspicion of assaulting the officers.



A spokesman for Hampshire police said: “A 34-year-old woman was arrested on two counts of assaulting a police officer and one of harassment.



“She was released on police bail where she is due to report back to a police station at the end of this month. This is an ongoing case.”



A family source said: “It seems to be one thing after another. They think everything is fine and then another problem crops up. Amelle’s really stressed out by it all.



“She’s already had heartache from one sister, now she is worried about her elder sister.



“The family fear they are cursed.”



Amelle and sister Samiya featured in the band Boo2 before Amelle joined the chart-topping Sugababes girl group at the end of 2005, replacing founding member Mutya Buena.



She has had to battle to keep her career on an even keel since the attack on traveller Freddie.

I always have an affectionate spot in my heart for Zakiya after Cheryl Cole thought she was Amelle's mum. I hate Cheryl with a passion but that was funny. :lol:

If this is true, I feel soooo sorry for Amelle. Everyone around her is getting into trouble.

Well if this is true then Amelle already knows about it and I am sure she is wishing Zakiya all the best. It has nothing to do with her personally and I do not see why the public have to know about somthing which is not directly connected to her.

I am sure Zakiya is a lovely person, and why the hell the media have to dig and pry into every crevis of her family is beyond me.

It's funny how all this happens now Amelle is famous, I have a feeling they didn't get in to trouble before. Or did they? I guess we'll never know.

What a person does in the personal life is NOT the business of the press anyway.

Amelle's family should be allowed to live a private life. If they get into trouble, if this even does happen, then the rest of the world should not have to know.

I don't want to post all this Amelle bullshit on my site!
