Gabriella Cilmi to support Sugababes

GABRIELLA CILMI has confirmed she will join the Sugababes on their forthcoming UK tour in March. The dates will follow Gabriella’s support slot on Parisian collective Nouvelle Vague’s UK tour in February

Tipped widely in the press already as a major new talent for 2008, Gabriella releases her debut single 'Sweet About Me’ on the 10th March 2008

Bringing a little fun back to pop, 'Sweet About Me’ is a slinky soulful pop song, about making trouble and getting away with it.

Radio 1’s Jo Whiley has been spot playing the single, and Radio 2 and Capital Radio have playlisted the single 6 weeks upfront of release.

Special mixes on the single from Alex Beedle and Matthew Herbert have been picking up plays on Kiss, Galaxy, 6Music, Ministry and BBC London, and Gabriella followed in the footsteps of Richard Hawley, The Kills, and Cat Power by performing a live session on 6Music’s The Hub this week.

Looking as well as sounding the part, Gabriella has been confirmed as the face of Boots No.17 cosmetics range

I like her, but I think that Sugababes can have someone at least known supporting them by now.

Rather her than those fundamental 03 or whatever "play ground, play round.." haha, they were just awful.

It's always a bummer when someone you don't know supports the act.
I guess it's so they don't out-do the band you've paid to see.
When I went to Rihanna and Ciara was her support, Ciara was almost as good as Rihanna.

jus 1 supportin act? i thought they normally have 2. oh and jus thinkin someone once said that the babaes and girls aloud go to each others gigs to show support so maybe theres a chance of seein sarah at manc or kimberley in braddy there hometowns doubtful i know but still x
