wanted to know it's Amelle's real name Emma?

I think it is, yeah. Personally I think Emma suits her better, but a Sugababes has to have a more exotic name I guess

I think Amelle sounds so much better. Its like Rich said, exotic & out there.

I beleive Emma was her name when she was at school. But she changed it to Amelle before she started up Boo2 with Samiya.

I could be wrong mind.

I think she was known as Emma in school.. as it was easier or a nickname? Can' memba. lol I read her saying something like "I don't know where Emma came from but it was for short" lol Unless I dreamt it :P

Lol and yeah and all girls have all abit unusual name's not normal and boring name's like other girl groups (GA, Atomic Kitten....) but I don't think the name Heidi is exotic not at all lol

Heidi is quite a rare name, not to mention the middle part is identical to Kiesha! ;)

Mutya is also uncommon and I think if you look at Amelle's sister's names, Zakiya, Samiya and Laliya they are all similar in spelling. So in a sense her name alone is unique

I dont think it matters what if her name is Emma or Amelle. What matters is the fact she is a great singer and an amazing person too :)

Amelle is a common arabic name so I'm pretty sure it's her real name.

Emma was her nickname. That's why she used it in Boo2.

I'm sure it's Amelle.
I mean, why would her mother call her children Samiya, Zakiya, Laliya and Emma? lol
When she was in Boo2 they probably called each other Sam and Emma.
But it makes you wonder why it's Emma and not Elle...

But its the same context as Amelle. Both sound similar but are spelt different.

If Amelle was called Emma because it was the first three letters of her name backards that shows no similiarity as to why people call you Pete?

It was just a suggestion about how some people use different versions of their names thats all. Like Dave can be short for David as Rich is for Richard.

But Mutya's real name isn't Mutya. Personally I think her proper name is a lot prettier than Mutya.

All her sisters have Morrocan-sounding names, 'Emma' doesn't really fit with that, I'd guess Amelle is her real name, but that she was 'Emma' at school to fit in more? I know the pain of having an unusual name and I've often wanted to change it.

True Loran as Mutya is Rosa really.

But Amelle Berrabah fits better than Emma Berrabah as you say due to the morrocan link. They all have great names anyway. :)

everyone calls me Chari but my real name is Charmaine. i think that ppl use short names as it is a lot quicker than saying ur full name. i like the name Chari, i fank Blake for giving me the name :P
