Heidi Range's cleaning obsessionI'm a bit of a cleaning-freak too :P

On Paul O Grady wasn't it Keisha who admitted she was a bit of a "neat freak?" :P

It's a good thing! It always pays to have a clean environment because then you're less lilkely to get ill.
I cleaned my room yesterday and I'm loving all the space I suddenly have

That really is somthing I need to begin doing. When I do lab assignments i have books everywhere and I wonder why I get so stressed out when things never work.
I think I need to take a leaf out of yours and Heidi's book. :P

Definitely! If I need to do work and see rubbish all over the floor, then I just can't do it because my environment is nasty.
It's been proven that the more pleasing the environment the harder you'll work too.

Aww i can't understand people who love cleaning  My mum is also obsessed by cleaning, and tbh i hate it :angel

One other thing connected to this is dust covers for computers. They collect so much dust you end up throwing them out. But flat screen monitors tend to gather less dust then standard ones.
Rich - January 2, 2008 08:34 PM (GMT)
everything in my room gets covered in dust, I have no idea where the dust comes from!

cleaning can get an illness too
i had that for a while
i was cleaning up my room everyday for hours and had to take a shower 3 times a day and wash my hands 40 times each day
but im over that now
but my room still always looks cleaned up
i just dont like it when rooms are a whole mess

I am obsessed with cleaning, fortunately, lol :D I am so lazy and I always say to myslef/my grandmother: "hey, why can't these all books be on the table? It's OK for me. F*%k off/come on, grandmother" :P (Yes, she's addicted to cleaning).
But on the other hand when I start to clean something I must do it always very precisely. I can't stand a situation, when anything doesn't stay straight or when I leave a little bit of dust after my cleaning

my room is kinda half half. on the outside it's neat but in the draws it's all over the place haha. at least i noe where everything is :P
AmelleLover26m - January 3, 2008 08:21 PM (GMT)
Contruary to popular beleifs there is a major difference between being tidy and being organsied.
Some people are better at A rather than B or visa-versa. It is a good habit to get into the groove of a mixture of the two. ;)

Mine is EXACTLY the same. Open a drawer and everything will fly out :D
But it is neat otherwise... until the drawer opens and I can't be bothered to clean it up!
AmelleLover26m - January 4, 2008 04:46 PM (GMT)
In that case I belieive storage containers may be a good answer Rich! ;)
Rich - January 4, 2008 08:14 PM (GMT)
Nah, they'd just replace the drawers for cramming stuff in.
Next year I may be settling down in my own place so then I'd start buying furniture, for now I'm moving around every 12 months or so and there's no way I can buy furniture and cart it about.

haha i'm not alone!!! xD
most of my cd's kept coming out so i stole my bro's container as he was neva using it & placed it in there, now the thing is full of cd's hahaha
AmelleLover26m - January 5, 2008 12:32 PM (GMT)
My entire music collection is on my computer. I still have the origianal cds but all the boxes are in the attic. :P
Rich - January 5, 2008 06:57 PM (GMT)
CDs are such a pain... I always leave the discs out of the boxes and have them laying about everywhere. I have about 600 CDs but most are in storage, the ones that aren't are neat (for now) by next week they won't be!
