Sugababes' Heidi Range has said that she has no plans to go solo because it would be too "tough".

The popstar has reportedly been offered the opportunity to forge a career away from the band, but turned it down because she isn't sure she could handle the pressures of working on her own.

Range told the Daily Star: "I like ­making music but my ambitions are to do well with the band.

"It’s too tough out there as a solo star on my own. I have seen so many fall and it isn’t nice"

But even if this is true I like her answer as its very honest and shows her total commitment to the Sugababes which is great to see of course.

Keisha stated they have alot to prove yet and they have only reached half way. Heidi said the babes will be around for a long time yet.

Ditto, I can't see Heidi solo but Keisha definetly. Amelle could but that'll be ages yet.

I think it's possible someday faraway when the babes split up and than all three go solo. I think it's very interesting to see what's happend than! I'm sure someday they will follow Siobhan's and Mutya's footsteps but when I think sometimes about Heidi and her solo career I really don't know what kind of music she's in to ....??
And than few years later there's a runion and all 5 girls come together and made a new album their 8th studio album release a new single called ''Future Babes U Know'' :rolleyes: lol!!! make a world tour and things like that!

But before all that their solo career....

Heidi/Pop (House like Beach House or just House) some friends of mine said that would be cool to see Heidi's future music-career in House or Electro like Shelly Poole!

Amelle/Pop/Rock/Soft Rock and maybe Heavy Metal

We have much to look forward to yet and that wont even cross my mind for a long time yet. I love the babes and I know they will be around for a long time yet.

Guys I think the comments made by Heidi are true. I remember when Mutya was in the group a reporter asked them ALL whether they would go for a solo career and they were ALL saying yes, but stated that the band comes first.

However after Mutya left there were reports going around saying that Keisha had a solo deal with Island. Again they (this time with Amelle) both Heidi and Keisha said it would be unfair to Amelle plus solo for ex-girl groups are rarely successful.

I love Heidi she's blunt and nice :P.

If they split....

Keisha could go solo

Amelle could lead a rock band

Heidi could start another girl band and flop.

Although she's my favourite I think she'd be least successful solo, her voice just fits perfectly alongside other girls'.

I Dont Think Amelle Is All That "Rock-Inclined" As Everyone Thinks She Is.

Amelle does have a "rocky" voice. Its also a bit husky as we know :wub:

But I think she could even go back to Boo2 with Samiya. This is my personal view thats all. I would still love to hear their "never released" album too...

Realise people change their minds. Just because someone said something brief doesn't mean it's true. I remember when the re-release of TIMW was released and how people complained that 2 Hearts wasn't the album closer anymore contrary to one of the girls saying it would be the best album ender. People shouldn't be taking something said so seriously.

I realize where you are coming from but Sugababes vol2 NEVER hid the fact that they wanted to have solo careers. I mean why say it if you don't mean it.

It was no suprise to me that Mutya got a solo deal (but shocked me the way it all transpired). For sure I can see all the Babes trying for a solo career but none of them are going to make it in my opinion because they lack CHARISMA.

Well Im glad she isnt. Weirdly, Heidi is the only Sugababe I need to have in the group. I can see the other 2 leaving, Im not saying I would like it, but I cant picture Sugababes without Heidi. I couldnt support it. Well Heidi is smart, and so is Keisha. After looking at the careers of ex-Sugababes I wouldnt want to go solo either.

Heidi is definitely my favourite babe, I cannot imagine Sugababes without Heidi.

I listen to Sugababes because of Heidi and if Heidi is no longer in the band than sorry, I'm no longer a Sugababes fan.

Just gotta be honest, Heidi is the reason why I'm a fan of Sugababes. :whistling
