Surprise is another Cathy Dennis and Dr Luke collab. In the booklet it is listed as Surprise (Goodbye) and it is thought to be the song "Goodbye" which was originally mentioned in the album's press release.

This is the only song on the album that I don't really like at the moment. Maybe it will grow on me.

It did get a mixed reaction from the fact is was the first song to leak and it was also on the promo cd ( I think ). I quite like it. Found it quite catchy.

Its one of those love it or hate it tracks. Overall it is a grower I agree.

hope this is not the track that the girls talked about it is for Mutya.

I doubt this song is about Mutya, as it mentions "another guy". I think they're too big to make petty digs at her anyway.

Regarding the song, CATCHY, CATCHY, CATCHY! I was humming it for hours after one listen. The lyrics could be better, but this is amazing pop!

Iv grown to like this song alot more now. Like I said above it is a grower and it has done exactly that.

Love it now, I never dis-liked it orginally anyway, just a bit unsure.

I really like this song cause it's very cathy. I also like the topic of the song and the lyrics.

this cant be the "goodbye" we heard eralier of. cause keisha siad she and heid wrote it about mutya's departure. and it's vene goign to be a b-side, maybe.

Yeah they did say "Goodbye" would be a B-side. I think it could added to the Change single.

This is my fave song from the album!!

The beat is so funky and the harmonies are just amazing.
I think it would make a wicked single.

I must say "Surprise" has really grown on me. At first I would say it's the worst song besides "Mended by you" but now I've really changed my mind! It's a great pop song and the chorus is so catchy. Kinda my fave song of "change" at the moment.

Surprise is a great song. I love the chorus and I like the "....with some other guy" part too. Well thought out lryics.

This was also one of the first tracks that leaked before the album came out and a lot of us loved it. I didnt listen to it personally even though the urge was there.

But im glad I waited as it was worth the wait.
