LYRICS

Do-dah-do-dah-do
Do-dah-do-dah-do
Do-dah-do-dah-do
Do-dah-do-dah-do

You're telling me that I don't look the same as I used to
Could it be that time's the only blame for our issues?
I wanna know
Can't go no longer being neglected knowing that your heart has changed

Reminiscing on the times looking at the photos oh we were so happy then
Taking walks out in the park, enjoying the sun
And I was your only one
And we were like the closest friends

Chorus
Back when
We used to talk about anything
Now it seems you're not listening
Winter nights are colder than the usual
And summer time is just not the same
What happened to the love back when?

Do-dah-do-dah-do
Do-dah-do-dah-do
Do-dah-do-dah-do
Do-dah-do-dah-do

You promised me we'd plant the seed to love and let it grow
Now it seems that you don't even water it no more
'Cause it seems the leaves then hit the ground and faded
Now the trees don't look the same

Reminiscing on the times looking at the photos oh we were so happy then
Taking walks out in the park, enjoying the sun
And I was your only one
And we were like the closest friends

Chorus
Back when
We used to talk about anything
Now it seems you're not listening
Winter nights are colder than the usual
And summer time is just not the same
What happened to the love back when?

(Do-dah-do-dah-do)
We used to talk about anything
Now it seems you're not listening
Winter nights are colder than the usual
And summer time is just not the same
What happened to the love back when?

You told me that you loved me
And now it seems to me we're two strangers that's falling apart
And I know nothing in life is guaranteed
So if you wanna move alone then move along

Chorus
Back when
We used to talk about anything
Now it seems you're not listening
Winter nights are colder than the usual
And summer time is just not the same
What happened to the love back when?

(Do-dah-do-dah-do)
We used to talk about anything
Now it seems you're not listening
Winter nights are colder than the usual
And summer time is just not the same
What happened to the love back when?

I don't think this is in the league of Push The Button at all. Ugly, maybe, but I didn't really like that track. In fact, this reminds me a little bit of Ugly.. kind of dull, but "nice". Definitely filler. I was shocked Ugly was the second single, as Ace Reject, Obsession, It Aint Easy and 2 Hearts blow it out of the water in my opinion.

I doubt this will get released, though. A nice song, but nothing special.

Nuh uh, nope, no likey. Boring and sad.

I do like some parts of the song though...

Sugababes UK - October 10, 2007 09:43 PM (GMT)
I really like this one! The way the chorus is sung is really good, especially the endings of some of the lines, like "the same".

Amelle's middle 8 is really good too. I like how she sings "love" and "and I know".

Also I like the "Do-dah-do-dah-do"

Very good song.

Im a bit of a softy for songs with a sort of story so this makes it as one of my favs on the album.

A few people seem to think its about Mutya. I can see the relation in the Lryics but I very much doubt that was the reason behind the track.

Its a great song all round.

LittleSugababe - October 11, 2007 11:40 AM (GMT)
I REALLY LOVE THIS SONG. ONE OF MY FAVORITES.

I REALLY THINK IT'S ABOUT MUTYA. OR AT LEAST, IT'S PARTLY ABOUT HER. I MAY BE COMPLETELY WRONG, WHO KNOWS... BUT THATS WHAT I THINK

IVE HEARD MANY PPL FIND IT BORING (ALL OF MY FRIENDS SAID THIS SONG IS LIKE TRASH) BUT I'M SOOOOOO IN LURVE WITH IT , I DUNO WHY !

AmelleLover26m - October 11, 2007 11:56 AM (GMT)
Its one of those songs you will love or hate I think. People are always welcome to their view on things and we do not always have to agree with it.

But I still personally feel its a good song.

blaketat - October 11, 2007 03:10 PM (GMT)
It Could Be Interpreted In To Being Meant About Mutya.
But I Dont Think It's About Mutya.

Amelles Verse Is SO MELTINGISH It Made Me Melt.

Taller In More Ways - October 12, 2007 02:59 PM (GMT)
I think it's by far the best ballady effort on the album. Well yeah, by FAR! Atmospherically close, intense and overall SMART! The chorus is ace and Heidi's bridges much better than almost everything else on that album! As a whole I don't think it's top class either, but one of the better songs on the album. 8.5/10

Thats Strange Because I Remember Heidi's Verses More On This Song. Keisha Over Kills It Sometimes. Let Amelle & Heidi Take Lead!!!
Sorry Keisha Lovers But Nyeh.

No.78 - October 12, 2007 06:27 PM (GMT)
Keisha dominates alot of the album I feel XD

AmelleLover26m - October 13, 2007 03:20 PM (GMT)
Vocalally I feel it is well shared.

Amelle bar a few starts every song and Heidi also gets a lot of input.

Keisha has her moments yes but overall its well balanced.

I really like this song, but feel the last line that goes 'So if you wanna move alone then move along' just seems written poorly...like they couldnt think of what to put there....if that makes sense

Mr. Ace Reject - October 15, 2007 11:23 PM (GMT)
This is such a nice song. I love Heidi's part but all girls sounds great. It's a very emotional song.

I felt the exact same way.

There would be better things to say than "then move along"

chilln_chick2002 - October 17, 2007 01:21 AM (GMT)
I have yet to listen to the song in full because its boring.

AmelleLover26m - November 3, 2007 06:56 PM (GMT)
I know it wont happen, but if this was released as a single it would have a great vid. The song more or less writes its own script for the video.

HeidiLoving - November 3, 2007 09:21 PM (GMT)
The more I listen to it the more it grows on me. Really nice track and such a great chorus. I love the feeling it is giving me.

Skin of Skunk - November 4, 2007 11:21 PM (GMT)
I don't like the "do da do" at the beginning, it's kinda annoying and I think it'd be better with just the guitar intro. It's good otherwise.

AmelleLover26m - November 5, 2007 08:33 AM (GMT)
What makes this song so good is the fact that many people can relate to the lryics. We have or all may go through these scences in our own life times.

Keisha4Ever - April 19, 2008 12:10 PM (GMT)
I absolutely love this song. I would love it if it were released as a single, but it wouldn't be successful in the Summer. Look at 'Follow Me Home'!
