Denial was the first track, apart from the lead single, that the fans got to hear. The 'babes performed a live version of the song at The Album Chart show, which was first broadcast in September. Since then the 'babes have also performed an acoustic version on various radio shows.

One thing about this song I really do like is towards the end the producers have done somthing really cool to Keisha's voice and she sort of goes "ahhhhhh" really fast just before the chorus.

Amazes me what computers can do nowdays. Love this song more than I did when I wrote my review. And that submarine bit at the beginning makes me chuckle.. all its is. is a clever usage of the sounds that a keyboard can make. It never hurts to experiement with somthing new.

This is definatly one of my favourites from the album. Great fast paced verses, cool bridge and great chorus too. Heidi sounds really good on it. I think it would make a great single.

I don't rate this song as highly as others do. Lyrically: perfect, but the rest doesn't really seem to do it for me. I guess the highlight is Keisha's verse, I agree that the effects on her vocals are pretty damn good! This may grow on me, I hope it does.

Amelles verse is perfect.

Someone on Popjustice said this track was produced by Orson, but I guess that was a lie. I love Denial, always have done since I heard the live version a few months ago.

The Sugababes also preformed this on Jonathan Ross on Radio 2, the album chart shiow the O2 and various other gigs like Denamark and Poland, It is certainly one they seem to enjoy prefroming so I think that gives us even more encouragement it may well turn out to be a single.

^ I'd like to think so. In my opinion, I feel it's stronger than Change and should be the second single.

The only thing is, they've stated that Never Gonna Dance Again and Back Down will be singles. That means there's no room for Denial unless they have a fifth release.

For me Denial is one of the best album tracks. I love especially the chorus which is so catchy. I also like the lyrics of the song.

As much as I love Denial and love the video, I think it should've been given a bit of a mix for the single release, using the album version vocals and the promo version backing track.

But I think that they need an special/exclusive remix on the cd for people that like the song an want to buy it. With more on the single will it better sale I think . :rolleyes:

I have been re-reading the comments of this thread and it does appear most of us wanted this to turn out as a single. That did happen. I also stated in one of my earlier posts to this thread that the fact it was pe-Change album promo;d may work well in its favor.

I am glad it did turn out be a single, I still love this song and always will. I hold much encouragement from Robert when he said "they said NGDA would also be a single" :D
