"Bleeding Love" is a song by Leona Lewis, to be released as her official second single on 29 October 2007 from her upcoming debut album.The song is written and produced by Ryan Tedder and was recorded while Leona was out in LA. Ryan has also written for pop superstars Jennifer Lopez and Lil’ Jon.

"Bleeding Love" is said to be like a classic Prince record, or Whitney Houston's "My Love Is Your Love".

Leona’s as yet untitled album will be released on the 5th November in the UK and early 2008 in the US.

Lewis will perform the song on the first live show of the fourth series of The X Factor.

Bleeding Love to be released on 22nd October 2007

SonyBMG Syco Music have brought forward the release date of Leona's new
single 'Bleeding Love' to 22nd October 2007 (Download from 21st
October) so it will launch off the back of her performance on the X Factor on
20th October.

Everyone will be able to pre-order the download of the single from
tomorrow (15th September)... more info to follow !!

Also as already posted don't forget to listen in to Radio One on
Sunday, where 'Bleeding Love' is getting it's first play at around 6.45pm !!

Hey Everyone,

Well the past week has been really busy for me - my first photoshoot came out in Harpers Bazaar and my new single played for the first time on Radio 1!

I loved the Harpers Bazaar shoot - I had so much fun being creative with different looks and I was so excited to see it in the magazine, thanks to all at Harpers Bazaar for making it happen, it really was a dream shoot! Lucy and Alison it's a pleasure working with you truly!

Sunday was such an amazing day cos I heard my single 'Bleeding Love' on the radio for the first time! It was incredible. I was at home with my family listening - it was very emotional. I've grown up listening to Radio One so to hear them playing it exclusively was crazy!!!

Feels so great to finally be able to let you all hear the new single - i've been reading some of your thoughts on my forum - so pleased to hear you're liking it a much as me!
I had so much fun making that record with Ryan Tedder in LA. He's such a talented producer and lovely guy. He also worked on another track on my album called 'Take A Bow', which is one of my favourites.
This week I'm rehearsing for my launch event which is next week. Ive been working with Yvie again (the vocal coach from the XFactor) so nice to see her as I haven't seen her since the Xfactor tour - I'm really nervous but so very excited at the same time to perform for an audience again!

Anyway I'll write again soon. Thanks again for all your continued support. It means so much to be able to do what I love!!

I do have to say though......I think Bleeding Love is a great song!!! A new favorite of mine for sure,I can't wait to hear some more form her,she's got a really vice voice. :D

'Bleeding Love' video shoot



What a couple of weeks. I don't even know where to start!!

Last week I had my launch event at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in London. I was so nervous and so excited all at once. I was blown away by how many people came and the reception I got. It was such a great night, some of my family and friends came too which was really lovely. I performed 4 tracks from my new album - it was wonderful to be able to finally perform the songs I’ve been working so hard on. I wore a really beautiful dress by Amanda Wakely that I loved - thanks for support Amanda!!!

I had to whizz off home straight after the showcase to pack for LA as I had to leave early the next morning to go and shoot the video for 'Bleeding Love'!!!!

The video is directed by Melina who is an amazing director, so creative and full of energy. It was a pleasure to work with her and her team to create this video. We shot it in a studio in LA - its real colourful, very funky, has lots of extras and I get to really perform - I don’t want to give too much away as I want it to be a surprise for you all the first time you watch it! It was a lot of fun to shoot. Unfortunately though I got flu on the flight over so I was coughing and sneezing from beginning to end!

MTV and GMTV were also there filming and Terri Seymor came down to interview me for the US. She's so beautiful and as always really lovely to see her. Keep an eye out for them behind the scenes pieces going out! It so exciting hearing 'Bleeding Love' being played on radio, I’m pinching myself daily! It wont be long now till its out!
