Description: No its not her solo material
chilln_chick2002 - July 12, 2007 11:44 PM (GMT)
I really like the song but its only like 2 minutes long :( . Its way better than the other non-Sugababes related material that she has recorded.

It is not my taste of music, but Keisha vocals are very good in it.

woooooow i love it!! I really want to hear the full version of this!

It was against band policy for Mutya to record a song with George Michael but Keisha can do it with anyone she wants.. someone explain to me how this works

Kal to be honest I think that was bullshit  . I pretty sure the media made that up just like they said that Mutya said/ or implied that she called Amelle a clone. Despite the fact that she conducted an interview with the reporter.
Keisha has been recording outside the Sugababes for ages. I pretty sure this is the 4th track that she has made outside the group. The first time happened during Angel's With Dirty Faces era. And at one point I believe Heidi was helping other artist including Duncan from ex boyband Blue with lyrics (she even admitted that in a televised interview) again that time Mutya was in the group.
IT WAS BULLSHIT AND OF.
kal1ch - July 14, 2007 11:05 AM (GMT)
Yeah it could be bullshit indeed, but then why didn't Mutya record the track with George Michael when she was with them?
Hyller - July 14, 2007 11:35 AM (GMT)
probably they can record but not release? ... i remember that Chris Martin from Coldplay sang with Nelly Furtado All Good Things Come to An End but his record label didnt allow them to release that song with Chris Martin's voice
kal1ch - July 14, 2007 11:38 AM (GMT)
Yeah, ok. But she still didn't record it?

The record company/management probably didn't want Mutya to do a song with George Michael while she was in the group because it would have put more focus on her, when the 'babes usually are quite equal. George Michael is a high profile star. The people Keisha has worked with are underground acts that most people will never hear of or hear the work she's done with them.

True but I still think its bullshit. Why would the record company than allow Heidi to work with Duncan despite the fact that he was apart of a massive group? Yes, George Micheal is more well known outside Europe than Duncan but he still is more known than anyone Keisha has worked with.
Anyways when Keisha worked with Crazy Titch the song was massive in the underground sceen and got alot of rare reviews. I think she prefers to work with underground/garage/grime artists because she likes that kind of music herself. I think at one point she said that despite being Dizzee Rascal's friend she really wants to work with him on a professional level as well with Kano.
All in all I think its bullshit. Because whether one or another member works outside the group it should be seen as a positive because it demonstrates that they aren't just a typical girl band. That actual artists like George Micheal (despite thefact that his songs get shitter as he ages) shows that their credible and get their band across more.

Thanks for posting, Keishas vocals are great, but the musics not my cup of tea.

Not ny kinda music either... but go Keisha!
I think they should be allowed to work with anyone they want... they're contracted as a group aren't they?
