I was just wondering whether the "introduce yourself" forum is a necessary one or not? Do you think I should leave it as it is, or delete it and create an "introduce yourself" topic in General chat?

1. Its Easy To Find On The Board Index. If It Was Gerenal Chat, It Would Be Hard To Find For A Newbie.
2. The Gerenal Chat Will Always Be Full Of Stuff But Theres Bandwars, What Are You Listening To & Other Bits. So Maybe It Will Make Gerenal Chat More Crowded. It May Not Be A Problem For Some People But I Think The Gerenal Section Is Fine As It Is.

I agree with Joel. Keep it seperate from the rest of the board as newbies to the commumity may not know where it is if it is moved. But its always good to bring new ideas up :)

Rob, have you made a decision on this yet? I take it most of us would like it kept as it is, although of course the final say is down to you :)

but, there aren't really a whole lot of newbies, not enough to need a seperate section.

and, i think it'd be better, maybe, to have a sort of sticky "introduce yourself" thread. from what i've seen on the other forum i go on, that words really well.

I personally feel one reason for not having many new members is because the babes have not done much "musicly" for a while ( apart from the tour ). I can bet, when the new album is released in the autum, we will be infested with a load of new members. Heres hoping im correct anyway. :D

maybe you should wait till around october, and if there still haven't been a flood of new members, it could be reduced to a thread?
