Today was the first time in a very long while that I did any "surfing" and found myself here.

I was curious to see what Stonethegardener actually was. All it took was the photo of some long haired dude working hard on the land to get me to register. Hippies I know make the best gardeners at least from this old hippies perspective :P

I sent a message about broken photo links - thought I'd post that here too since I've had a couple emails bounce from other old sites I've visted today.

Thanks "wiseacre". I'll look at those broken photo links when I can... I've been having some difficulty with my webhost "forgetting" my pics... I upload them... & they "forget" different ones! I'm very close to simply loading everything into google & hotlink from there.

For a while I thought this site was abandoned. I've seen many a personal page turn to dust over the last 10 years.

I've been checking my old links and found most of the sites gone. A couple still up and one pointed the way here :)

Have you considered getting a paid host? They're not too expensive these days and besides the free hosts really do suck. Goodness I'd hate to think how much of a pain it would be to "hot-link" and manage my images on free hosting sites.

Guess this time of year we shouldn't expect too much interest in garden sites.
I'll stop by now and then to keep some life in this forum. You seem to know "your stuff" and it would be a waste if others didn't take advantage of it.

Well you have a nice site and it deserves better than a free host. I can understand the credit card issue but I have one only for on-line use.
