The price and the short of it is: when I started out, I could copy and paste from Word to the Freewebs's WebzEdit page, insert all the proper breaks and such, save and be done with it. NOW, all of the sudden, it's eating my punctuation, and what were quotation marks and ellipses and apostrophes are now just question marks. It looks ridiculous, and it's a pain to go in and correct EVERY SINGLE LITTLE thing.
Please tell me what's going on and how I can fix it. Thank you.
Edit: Apparently, according to their
official help board, this is just some effed-up phase that their system goes through, to quote --
"Unfortunately that seems to happen from time to time and then corrects itself after a bit. I haven't seen anyone venture a guess as to what's causing it, but it's something on Freewebs side, not something you are doing."
...well, that's great but maybe someone SHOULD try and figure out what the heck is causing it so it can be STOPPED once and for all? <_<
'Nother Edit: Um, you mentioned in your email reply something about an "HTML Edit Page" and "writing [your] own HTML"...what is that, and how would I go about doing that? ^^;
