Title: Water War Music Video
DX - April 30, 2006 03:57 PM (GMT)
No, it's not done yet, I still have a lot of editing to do. Nibordude still has the tape with the opening, closing, and some filler shots. I'm going for a short bike ride soon [by short I mean under 20 miles] and then going over to get that tape and finish the music video.
I'm using WinDVD instead of Premier to edit, and I wish I could use Premier. The problem in Premier is that video footage lags very, very, badly. So badly that I just can't edit.

Why did you post the thread if you don't have the video yet? You got us all thinking it was like posted or something! lol jk

I am posting it...tonight if possible. I'm about halfway through.

I'm done except for some short bonus footage. It came out pretty well for a Windows Movie Maker movie.

I hope I can watch it... I never seem to be able to watch that many movies online anymore. I think I need to update Shockwave and something else..

^Don't forget to get the latest version of Quicktime as well. All the formats used at SM play via Quicktime.
Sorry for all the delay, what happened was I redid the whole movie using a friend's Mac laptop and iMovie. So the new version is pretty darn good. I just need to import it to my own computer or to school and compress it for web streaming.

Yeah, I think what happened is my dad updated Quicktime, and it only did it for his account. He said we can fix it here... I need both Quicktime and Shockwave.

I didn't have time to import/compress the movie today at school. I will have to do it tomorrow. I don't want to do it at home since I prefer how iMovie compresses video as opposed to WinDVD.
Update: Compression resulted in a 25.1 mb file, .1 over the Putfile limit. Will re-do tomorrow.

The Movie^The file is embedded from YouTube. The rendering is extremely slow, so give it time before playing. When SM has its new host, I will upload that locally for much better rendering times and quality. The actual file is 33.9 mb, even with that [to me] horrible compression quality.
