NH got hacked today. The suspicious thing is that the hacker used a German site to mask the IP address. Although there is no connection to the spammer who hit us because the hacker was traced to Russia, wheras I traced our spammers' services to this country/Canada.

The Nerf Haven hit is a good lesson for us though. The SM v2 forum will use the most updated IPB version I can find, plus I will never send an email via the forum without some disclaimer in the email proving that it is actually me.

Wow...don't you hate viruses?

I've always wondered why people don't create a virus that instead of trying to destroy the system, would silently disable functions like firewalls, antivirus software, and safe mode(if possible). Maybe also have the virus change it's code a little each time it reproduces (like evolution) so that only the versions that the antiviruses don't get will keep reproducing.

Viruses have been known to go for antivirus software.

That it known as polymorphism.
