Title: Offensive Tactical Scenario

DX - November 23, 2005 03:46 AM (GMT)
Since this part of the forum is so quiet...

You are a commander with 5 well-trained men, hidden behind some bushes. A few hundred feet ahead is a wide hill, at the top is the OB [out of bounds] line. You have driven your enemy of 5 to this hill, and they have taken up defensive positions behind trees. Now that you've trapped them with their backs to the OB line, you must follow through with the attack and eliminate the enemy on the hill. Beware, the hill is somewhat steep, the enemy has good cover, and they aren't stupid.

You have these resources available:
You: CPS 2500
Soldier 2: CPS 1200
Soldier 3: CPS 2100
Soldier 4: CPS 1500
Soldier 5: Water balloons

Enemy:
Soldier 1: Water balloons
Soldier 2: Water balloons
Soldier 3: CPS 2500
Soldier 4: CPS 2000
Soldier 5: CPS 1000

1HK, forested, no hoses, no shields, no cheap crap like that. Good Luck!

Soldiers 2, 3, and 5 use all power to destract enemy. "You" and soldier 4 fire with the rest, and when enemy isn't watching you, sneak around to the side. Snipe two (one each) then flank the other 3 while soldiers 2, 3, and 5 come up the front.

This wouldn't work against veteran teams <_<
Ah well.

LIGHT ANNIHILATOR - November 23, 2005 08:42 PM (GMT)
I would send soilders 2 and 5 to distract them, send soilder 4 to attack from the left, leaving me and soilder 3 to attack from the right. One question though, does soilder 5 have a Douchenator, or is he just throwing the balloons? B)

If it doesn't say "Douchenator" then he just has balloons.

That's an easy scenario: call in an air strike!

m15399 - November 24, 2005 12:31 AM (GMT)
The Soakologist's way out, huh? Ya... that's guna work <_<
Actually it would if you could actually do it :P

Hunter - November 24, 2005 03:51 AM (GMT)
You dont think the local news company would mind me borrowing their helicopter, painting it camo, and mounting WBL's on it do ya?

DX - November 24, 2005 04:05 AM (GMT)
@Hunter: How would you do this scenario without an air strike? My team actually could call in an air strike, being that one of our members has a pilots' license and a plane, but I wouldn't trust him flying over [both teams] dumping water. :ph43r:

Hunter - November 24, 2005 04:54 AM (GMT)
No air strike huh? Naval bombardment!

LIGHT ANNIHILATOR - November 24, 2005 04:03 PM (GMT)
^ Okay let's be realistic here. Even the thought of a air strike or naval bombardment is absolutley rediculous.

Some Guy - November 24, 2005 04:26 PM (GMT)
The naval bombardment is vaguely realistic, a guy with a canoe and WBs...

Anyway heres my solution:

Soldiers 2 and 3 can fire short shots into the bushes, while running around. This should be agitating enough to get a few shots wasted and get the enemy pumping.

Then soldier 5 can belly crawl up the hill, taking advantage of the steepness and their cover which should make him hard to notice when under fire.

I and soldier 4 would go to opposite ways up the hill restraining fire. When we get there we open fire, while soldier 5 begins heavy bombardment of their position.

My uncle has a speedboat, and with my semi-auto WBL plans...

m15399 - November 24, 2005 06:27 PM (GMT)
I think the keyword there was "plans". Anyways, there was no water in the description.

Hunter - November 24, 2005 06:40 PM (GMT)
^He does have a point, dux, do we get water for our guns?

DX - November 25, 2005 12:31 AM (GMT)
In offensive scenarios, you always get refill water, since you can send guys to refill while pinning the enemy at their positions.

m15399 - November 25, 2005 12:37 AM (GMT)
I meant like rivers, lakes etc. that boats could go through. Guess I should've clarified that

DX - November 25, 2005 01:32 AM (GMT)
I will be posting more scenarios, and may throw in some fun stuff like ponds and boats depending on how seriously the other senarios are taken. B)

These scenarios will be put on SM v2, and the replies may be also.
