Well, these forums were started on October 26th, 2004, but I forgot to make an announcement 5 days ago. We're one year old!

So lets round up to 6000 posts?

If 6000 posts is what we got, then to reach 8000 by year's end we would need to increase activity 50% in the last 2 months. B)

It is very possible. This is close to the lowest activity we have ever had in our now one year history. We can get over 100 posts in a single day when something triggers discussion. A new member, an approaching goal, etc. have done that in the past. There are certain times when everyone suddenly feels like posting, and activity skyrockets.

Could we get 8000? Maybe. Is it possible? Yes.
