Title: War on Saturday

DX - September 15, 2005 09:55 PM (GMT)
The next war is this Saturday at 1-4 PM at the Goffle, [our home field] with the Militia [us] defending. I might go and scout some good positions, depending on the weather. The current hurricane on the North Carolina coast has been sending tropical rain through the area. There's a chance of lingering rain on Saturday, but you know our weather policy: If it's not raining at the start of the battle, it's still on!

I wish i could have more battles like yours. Good luck with your war sounds like it would be fun. And also how can you pull of all these ars so quickly and about how many people fight in each battle. I would like to know so i can shedule wars like that in my neighborhood. I have about 9 people not including myself who live withinn a 150 yard radius of my house that are somewhat intrested in water fighting.

Edit: my 130th post

We aren't called the Ridgewood Militia just because it sounds good. We can field a team in about half an hour, from 0% mobilization to 100% with little notice. Nibor and I call the people on our roster and see who is available. We also talk with them at lunch, since most go to our school. The largest war we have had is 7v4, although there are ~14 people on our roster and about 15 on Waterbridge's. In a utopian world, we could have a 14v15.

Achievements in Tech really help garner interest in your team. The Douchenator has done wonders for enlistment here, plus the modded guns and homemades. Hardcore wars with 1HK and advanced tactics are what really keep the interest strong, but some people don't like that style of battle or their friends aren't that responsible. There aren't many hardcore teams left out there. Then again we are all 16, turning 17.

Thanks for the help. I probably wont need to make a douchenator since my integration modded 1-3-21 is already attracting some intrest. Have fun during the war tommorow it looks like the hurricanes rain won't effect the battle. B)

Well, the battle starts at 1PM, so we've got about 3 hours to get ready. We are defending at the Goffle, should we go to the treehouse, to the island, or somewhere else? I don't know if the water has returned to the brook, because that will affect strategy.
