Title: More Reviews

DX - September 9, 2005 02:38 AM (GMT)
We could really use more reviews on certain guns, like the 2005 and 2004 super soaker lines, any WW guns, and older guns like the Classic series. Of course if you are a webmaster, feel no more pressure to submit things, you've got work to do on your own sites. But for the rest...Nibor and I barely have any new guns, and no Classics or certain XPs, so reviews would be really appreciated. B)

Wild boys and I are tied up with SSN, sorry.

I will see if I can do some over the weekend. I haven't been able to do a lot lately.

LIGHT ANNIHILATOR - September 9, 2005 09:23 PM (GMT)
If you will take modded gun reviews i can post a review of my 1-3-5 and 2100 integration when i can actually close the gun.

Hunter - September 9, 2005 10:53 PM (GMT)
Hmmm...actually, we should probably put some modded reviews on SSN. We would also welcome any content.

LIGHT ANNIHILATOR - September 10, 2005 01:37 AM (GMT)
I can also review the 1-3-5 i had before i intigration modded it

Some Guy - September 10, 2005 02:01 AM (GMT)
I could do one of my 11k and 2110k. I could also do a lightning and FF.

LIGHT ANNIHILATOR - September 10, 2005 02:16 AM (GMT)
Aren't the 11k and 2110k the same gun.

Edit: MY 100th POST now i finally fell i have made a impact on this site B)

DX - September 10, 2005 02:39 AM (GMT)
The 11K and 2110K are different. The 11K is tehnically the 1021K, but the original name stands because that gun started it all.

And this is Soaker Media, of course we take modded gun reviews. Modded, integrated, homemade, anything. No other site has reviews of such guns, it is a shame that tech has been so shunned in the past.

Some Guy - September 10, 2005 02:47 PM (GMT)
A homemade review would be cool. Especially if it came with instructions. That would really get some people into homemades.

LIGHT ANNIHILATOR - September 10, 2005 02:57 PM (GMT)
So my 1-3-5,2100 integration would actually be called a cps 1-3-2100. I think integrations should have a different naming system like host gun then pc instead of pc first with the host gun second. And homemade review would be awesome especially for the apr-line then people could decide what they want in a homemade and build the one that's best for their style of fighting.

DX - September 10, 2005 03:10 PM (GMT)
A 1-3-5 and 2100 would be a 1-3-21 or 21-3-5 depending on which pc went where. I've said it before, the pc is more significant than the host gun, so it should come first. And I will be writing homemade reviews, but instructions/videos will be in the Tech section instead. You will have 2 ways to learn about building homemades: The regular written guides and videos, which I think are much more helpful.

Ok, I just picked up a Storm 650 from my local TRU store today. So I'll make this review short and sweet.

I got the Storm 650 from Toys'R'Us today for the the price of £3.96. It was originally £7.99 but it was reduced so I thought that it was either now or never. There were two left and in different colours. I took the blue and transparent orange with an orange pump one over the green and transparent orange one that had a black pump. I got home and tested, the moment of truth. It feels very nice and comfortable and is a good size. I fired it and was impressed. It gives out a solid 1x stream of water, with pretty good range to which was about 10-11m. It hardly takes long to pump either which makes it great for sneak and hit and run attacks. You can hook it to a hose with the unlimitor which makes for non stop firing, although it doesn't come included with this gun. The only things I don't like about it is that it doesn't hold very much water, although it is a pistol, the pump also is not very comfortable and hurts larger hands. Overall, I highly recommend this gun. It is a great pistol and is great for a sidearm.

Pros

+Nice size, feel and colour
+Powerful, solid stream
+Great range for a pistol
+Great shot time
+Easy and fast pumping

Cons

-Low reservoir capacity
-Uncomfortable pump for large hands

I asgree with him on this. It would be much better to have gun then PC.

I should do one too.

When I saw the lightning on ebay I was just looking foar a decent, inexpensive gun. I found it on ebay for a total cost of about 15$ USD. It came and the mail a few weeks later and I tested it out. The gun has a strap which is always a plus, though I hardly find it heavy. The nozzle selection has 3 nozzles, one tiny nozzle that i guess is about .5x, a medium one that's probably 3x, and a large one that's probably in the 7.5x range. The small one I hardly use, unless I start to run out of water. The medium one is a good general use nozzle, If you do an air compression power mod it can get someone fairly wet. The large one is probably the most fun to use. It has good output, able to easily overcome most everything that they still make today. It has a yellow crescent shaped thing, which I assume is a firing butt. One of the most annyoing things is the pump configuration. It is not tracked and if you twist the handle a bit it won't go back all the way. Overall, it seems like a good gun to fill the position of light rifle on your team. It could easily get up to medium, but the resivour is too small.

Pros:
Okay looks
nice nozzle selection (for it's class)
Good range for a rifle
Good shot time
Strap
Very Light

Cons:
Small resivour capacity
Annoyingly loud screech for a check valve
Electric Pressure gauge trigger can rub against a thumb
Pump grip shape get caught on gun

I have been hit by the lighting's larges nozzle and that thing is powerful but the other 2 nozzles are just plain weak.

I got my triple charge and splashzooka today, so now I can review many of my gun's / former guns. Which are the: Triple Charge, Splahzooka, 2100 (if necessary), 21,000 (if necessary), 4100, and my 2100, 1-3-5 integration exclusively for V2. B)
