Title: cps 2100 vs cps 4100
Description: witch is better
LIGHT ANNIHILATOR - August 12, 2005 08:30 PM (GMT)
I am new here and I was just wondering witch is better the cps 2100 or the cps 4100

I'm not exactly sure as I have not used both of them. But i would say stock the 4100 is probably a little better because of the nozzle selector. But the 2100 can be modified to shoot 65 ft, so modified the 2100 is a better choice. This could probably have been found out with a bit of research or checking the stats at isoaker.com. In the future, please do research on questions before asking. That way it's better for everyone. ;)

The CPS 2100 is far superior to the CPS 4100, not in stock preformance, but in its capabilities. Mod it into a 21K and get 65ft, or integrate it into an 1100 to get 50ft, or mod the integration to get an 11K with range possibly over 75ft. The 2100 can also be integrated in other ways with the 1200 and 1000.
And how come you know it is the 10th anniversary of CPS, yet ask a question like this one?

Dux, you couldn't have put it better. People that are new to soaking or don't soak as a hobbie buy Cps 4100s because they are the best they can get at this point in time without going to ebay. Us enthusiasts prefer Cps 2100s because, although weaker, through modding they can be much, much more than any modded Cps 4100 could ever become.

Modding wise, the CPS 2100 has an edge, but the 4100 has modding capabilities. For instance, the fanspray is okay. Saw it off and you have a monster nozzle. Saw it so it's a straight line instead of little holes and you get an amazing fan spray that covers a huge area. The CPS 4100 is an under rated gun in my opinion, but in this match up, the 2100 wins.

The 4100 is not a underrated gun. The 1-3-5 now that's a underrated gun.
NiborDude - August 16, 2005 09:06 PM (GMT)
Under rated as in people don't think of it as being that great of a gun. The CPS 1-3-5 just plane sucks. The CPS 4100 is a lot better than what some people say.

Sure it sucks, but it wasn't meant to be a powerful soaker. It was made with the 5 nozzles to look cool. It was a gimmic, and the only use for a stock 1-3-5 IMO, is for XP, MD, XXP, SS battles. It can't contend with the other CPS guns mainly because it wasn't built to. ;)
LIGHT ANNIHILATOR - August 17, 2005 07:25 PM (GMT)
It can be modded to be able to compete with other cps guns.
Hunter - August 17, 2005 07:26 PM (GMT)
Yea, but it's got potential for modding, and if nothin else it's pc can be used for an integration...
Crashdummy - August 17, 2005 07:27 PM (GMT)
That is what I plan on doing to the one I will be getting in the mail. I like squeezing as much power out of my guns as possible.

As they've said before... CPS 4100 > CPS 2100 stock
CPS 2100 > CPS 4100 modded
The CPS 1-3-5 is an excelent scouting gun. It's also good for urban fighting. It is however, not nearly as good as other guns in its size in an all out battle. CPS 1500/1700 clearly owns.
