Title: Flash Flood pc expansion mod
Description: remove those pesky pc walls

I've done a strange PC expansion mod to my FF. Basically though you just open up the PC walls So that you can access the PC. Then you take the PC out and attach the bladder back to the rest of the gun. This removes the PC walls. With a check valve freeze this mod allows you to pump until you stop due to fear a breaking the gun.

Here are some pics:

Wow! Great pics! If you could write up an article with those pictures it would be a great addition to soaker media.

I guess I could the only problem is that I'll be away until friday, but I'll get it up as soon as I can.

Great modification! The small PC size really limits the capabilities of the Flash Flood. I]'m glad to see that someone took the initiative to try the PC expansion mod, and am also glad to see that CPS bladder access is reasonably easy. Have you noticed any significant changes, power-wise?

Not really, but then again my nozzles are really messed up so I doubt if I could notice a difference. Probably though if the nozzles workd right the answere would be a no. This mod simply takes away the PC walls to allow pumping to the maximum, however shot time is much better now.

looks good, maybe put some kind of protective cover over the outside of the case so it doesnt let dirt and dust get to the CPS pc?

Good idea, this mod is still relatively new, I'm definitely going to refine it.

What you might want to do is saw out the end of the PC casing so that it extends further. When I get back I plan to do it to my Flash Flood.

I already did. But since it was on the day that I left I couldn't get any pics up.

This might not be too helpful, but maybe you should take some PVC and put the PC in it, so that it does not get caught on the sides of the back of the top part of the gun (Use PVC with at least 1/2" to spare for expansion)

I wouldn't really want to do that (unless it was something along the lines of 6-8 inch PVC). The main advantage of this mod is it's increased shot time (which would be limited by anything you put over it) . However I guess that if you wanted to put a very large PVC sheath over the pc then it would be alot less likely to break.
