Soaker Media is supose to be about everyone's soaker media. If you have an article, Picture, Video, anything soaker related, we will put it on the site. We want content thats not just our own!

When we get the new domain/hosting, the v2 pages will appear there, not the old site. If you want to save anything from the old site, now is the time to do it. Although nearly all the images and data will be carried over into the v2 site, so that should not be an issue.

And don't worry if there's something wrong with the pages so far put up for v2. [Like now how the text isn't displaying] Chances are that I was editing the CSS and switching the elements used, and haven't gotten to the other pages yet. Time is very limited and most updating will be slow.

I really need to learn CSS...

I learned from the W3Schools tutorial. CSS is really basic, but it is powerful and there are loads of things you can do with it. I love the class system, because you can create endless entries with endless possiblities. W3Schools also has a section where you can learn CSS by doing instead of reading. "Learn by Example" was really, really helpful.

Just another friendly reminder:

Soaker Media is NOT a n00b site. We welcome new members, but not n00bs. Just because you're new doesn't mean that you have to act immature like the hundreds who have come before you. These forums are a bit different than others. We assume you have at least some experience with online message boards and know what kind of behavior is generally expected. Our standards are high to ensure intellectual discussion. This is NOT AIM, Trillian, MSN, or other instant message service. This is a privately-run discussion forum, with social behavior lines which are not to be crossed.

Have a nice day.
