9th Wonders

Unknown to the general public a change is in the air, in the begining it will affect only a few before spreading onwards to certain individuals. In one point these individual will come together not only to save themselves but to save eachother and eventually the world, for in these individuals is the begining of the birth of a new species. A species that will display powers and abilities that so far have only been possible in movies and comic books, yet what makes these individuals so special is not the powers they will gain but how they will deal with them... Will they consider themselves a freak and hide away from the view of the world or will they believe that destiny has big plans for them?

In New York a young man stands high above the busy streets, his feet lingering on the edge of a building where a stray wind could easily push him off. As limp as a rag doll he tumbles off the building on the whim of a gentle breeze..... Across the world trapped within a hollow cubical a japanese paper pusher stares into the face of a clock. Dark yet joyfilled eyes clenched shut while the rest of his body trembles as the second hand of the clock freezes....Along with the rest of the office's inhabitants. These two are not the only ones on this planet whom are awakening to abilities new to man-kind, while they remain sleeping a small fraction of the earth's population will sooner or later discover these abilities. An evolution in the human link will be discovered....

Yet some have already discovered that these individuals with certain gifts, one of this people being the recently deceased Chandra Suresh;author of Activating Evolution. After writing his book about based to explain the reason so many people with powers are suddenly appearing, he journied to find his patient zero of these individuals. Sadly this so called patient zero was the only one among the 'evolved' individuals he was able to meet yet this doesnt mean that he was the only one out searching. Across the globe a select few of these 'blessed' people who have extraordinary abilities are being experiemented on even if they dont remember it. Memories whipped clean of such an event, one thing remains common among them......a tall haitian man.

So my friend in this big wide world we all share are you one of these ordinary people who discover themselves to have extraordinay abilities? Do you find yourself with no memory of the last few days yet when your moment picks up you find the face of a haitian glued to it. Or are you like everyone else in this world? Regardless who you are in the end you will come together with these individuals and become the ninth wonders of the world.

9th Wonders is based on the NBC series "Heroes", as the board begins both fan made and canon 'extraordinary' characters will discover that they are abit more special than others. Slowly characters by chance will meet as the plot of the show unfolds. As people meet and discover that they are not alone in their specialness the words "Save the cheerleader...Save the world" will bear meaning.
