You'd think that schools in another country would be different, right? You'd think that, especially since they're private schools, that they would have some sense of etiquette and manors. You'd think that that'd be the perfect little angels that their mommies and daddies taught them to be. Well, guess what? You're dead wrong.

Rose Academy and St. Mikeal's University are just like all the other American schools out there. But not everyone who goes to these two schools are American. These two schools are private schools, where people from around the world come to learn. Some have rich parents who want to send them away. Some are on scholarships. Some just want to learn in the great land that Australia is are in a financial aid program. Whatever the reason and however they're at the school, each person contributes what even the Australians refer to as 'drama, lies and deciet.'

In 1983 Mrs. Thompson, a very powerful business woman who donated money to every major corporation, called her husband. She said "Dearest, you know what we need to do with our darling Rebecca? We need to let her explore the world. We need to let her get to know what's out there. She needs to be free, away from parental rule, to take in the sights and see what there is to see." Of course, Mr. Thompson had not been expecting this. So he said "Well, pumpkin, what about school? Rebecca is only fourteen. She needs to be taught. She needs a future." After hanging up with her husband, Mrs. Thompson thought about this. Her husband was correct, after all. But she believed that she also was. So what was her solution?

In 1985 Rose Academy was built in Coffs Harbour, Australia. It was named after Mrs. Thompson's mother, Charolette Rose, who spent a good portion of her life traveling around America and motivating women to do something with their lives, instead of just sitting around and wasting in their husband's shadow. Rose Academy was opened to every nationality out there, and every country. If you could pay for it then you were in. It wasn't until 1992 that the school started hanging out scholarships.

What Mr. and Mrs. Thompson found was that people who were at the school hated graduating. That meant that they had to somehow get into a school in Australia without being a citizen, they had to get a job there, or they went back to whatever country they came from. It stressed a lot of people out, and all the students wanted to do was have more options. So in 1994 St. Mikeal's University was built.

These two schools are just like any other school out there. You have your preps and your geeks and your loners and whoever else you want to include in the social groups. These people hate each other and love each other, party together and bitch together. They're teenagers and young adults, what can you expect? And, being so far away from home and their parents, it's even worse. On the beach of Coffs Harbour, mayhem is taking place. So, really, we must know. Are you in on it?
