Atticus House
The oldest of the houses. Atticus members are cunning, brave, and also very punctual. They sometimes have more guts than sense, but they never lack for courage. The Atticus house mascot is a Thestral, and the house colors are green and black.

Terpsichora House
Terpsichoreans are artists, musicians, actors, writers. Creative in every endeavor, and a little bit crazy too. The house colors are a sunny yellow and periwinkle, and they claim a magical platypus for a mascot.

Durmiversity students can choose to live here in the dormitory or to have their own apartment in the Fiery Rubber Tree. Each student who lives here has their own room.

Shady Woodland
The Shady Woodland borders about half of the Durmstrang Grounds. The dark, ancient forest holds many mysterious and dangerous creatures and plants, and whlie students are not forbidden from entering it, they are warned to carry their wands at all times. The gateway to Voldemort's Secret Lair is rumored to be here, though those who know its location aren't telling.

Durmstrang Stables
Where the Durmstrang horses and dragons live. Durmstrang is known for its raise-and-release program of endangered dragons. Students are allowed to keep personal horses here with permission from the Headmaster.

Graveyard
Magic doesn't come without hazards. While the school does its best to teach its students in relative safety, these are dangerous times, and sometimes people die. At the very edge of the Durmstrang grounds lies a small, tree-lined graveyard, where their bodies rest. The graveyard is warded by spells preventing Necromancy and grave desecration.

The Swimming Pool
Includes a large pool, up to 12 feet deep at one end, and a hot tub. The outdoor pool area is magically heated in the winter, and is open all year long.

The Sleepy Hollow
This pub and inn has definitely found its place in the history books. It was once owned by a famous witch, Kiera Branditch, who was murdered here decades ago. It's rumored that every Hallows Eve, an occupant of the inn disappears, never to be seen or heard from again.

The Fiery Rubber Tree
This is the extremely tall (yet crooked) apartment building, featuring 100 flats over 25 floors. With a scenic view of a hippogriff manure shop, it emanates warmth and the feeling of home. The residents here enjoy spending their days in the affordable (and rightly so) flats offered here. Many of Durmstrang's graduates and Durmiversity students reside here.

Muggle World
Beyond Durmstrang and the Wizarding World exists the World of Muggles. Durmstrang, once a haven for the pureblooded Dark Arts fanciers, now hosts refugees from other schools, including Muggle-born students. And some witches and wizards just like mingling with Muggles. Visit Muggle shops and friends here.

Wizarding World
Durmstrang and Paddington Villa are great, but there's a whole Wizarding World out there. Come visit the Wizards' Mall, the greatest collection of shops, eateries, and interesting people in all of Europe. Or stop by the Ministry of Magic. For the really dark and daring, there's always Voldemort's Lair.
