The following is a list of known issues of the current release, and their current status. Reply to this topic if you want to report a bug which has not been listed.
Known Issues: 1. Wav2MP3 Wizard does not install/run correctly under Windows 95/98/ME Status: KNOWN ISSUE - Certain OCX controls the program uses (e.g. the Media Player) cannot be installed, registered or run correctly under the above operating systems; this makes the program unusable in those operating systems 2. The encoded file contains only noise (sometimes it occurs for the file to be only a few seconds long too) Status: CANNOT BE RESOLVED - This is either due to the source file being an unsupported format (such as compressed WAV files) or it being too short to be encoded. There are two possible solutions: 1. Try using another encoder. 2. Check if this topic applies to you. 3. If the user's computer is on an active Local Area Network but uses a modem to connect with the internet, the program will always assume it is connected to the internet, and there may be issues if the automatic update notification is enabled. Status: CANNOT BE RESOLVED - due to the nature of the Windows API, this issue cannot be resolved; if your computer is on a LAN but you use a modem to connect to the internet, disable the automatic updates notification through the Options screen This post has been edited by Leftos on Oct 27 2006, 02:34 PM -------------------- ~Leftos~

@Tharkon:
Welcome to the forums. I don't remember why I removed it from the list, but it had been there for quite long. First of all, check out the following topic and check if it applies to you: http://s8.invisionfree.com/Wav2MP3_Wizard_...hp?showtopic=39 If it doesn't, try using another encoder and tell me if the problem persists. In any case, it's not a fault of the program, but a problem of the encoder used. But whatever the real problem, I'll be glad to help you. Your problem has been added again in the known issues list at the top of this topic. -------------------- ~Leftos~
