Description: Designed and Coded

Jenkz - February 17, 2009 09:37 AM (GMT)
Need a website design and coding for a new site I'm opening up, grizzfans.com. I'm willing to pay 50 before hand and 50 when the site is complete. If your interested, email me (mjenkinstn@gmail.com) or send me a pm. Thanks! -Jenkz

I can design one but I don't know how to code. I will make a proposal for you and you can decide if you like it or not. Ill take 50 for designing it and maybe you can get someone to code it for 50.

Id be willing to do this as well, and since we are using dreamweaver in class i could probably get it coded, but im not positive.

PM if you are interested

If you can't code your own site you designed, you're pretty much useless as a designer.

Jenkz - February 18, 2009 05:52 AM (GMT)
I can do both, but I have my reasons for not wanting to haha.

Design - I'm rusty and have a bit of a designers block right now.
Code- I haven't coded anything in about a year, so I'd have to brush up on my skills and I really don't have time to do that right now.

-Matt- - February 18, 2009 05:54 AM (GMT)
Not talking to you.

ryander - February 19, 2009 04:25 AM (GMT)
I'm 15, I've been trying to learn how to code but there are no classes at school or anything. I can't learn off of the Internet personaly.

You can't slice it up in Photoshop and code it using Dreamweaver's visual editor?

Hell, I was doing that at your age.

can't code, useless as a designer.

Your words hit me so hard that I downloaded Dreamweaver..

It's true, though.

Kids who can manipulate photos are more than a dime a dozen.

Any kid can do it with their eyes closed.

Anyone can pop Arial 11 on some shapes and stocks and call it a site design.

Nobody's going to hire you if you can't code.

chitownfan1 - February 20, 2009 02:58 AM (GMT)
does dreamweaver work for doing myspace layouts?

-Matt- - February 20, 2009 04:30 AM (GMT)
I haven't worked with MySpace before.

But dw handles any code off the top of my head.

html, xhtml, css, xml, php, ajax, javascript

I have tryed coding in the passed but I'll give deamwaver a try again. Is flash easy to code ( or XML).

I'm looking to take a summer course on webdesign.

-Matt- - February 20, 2009 05:39 AM (GMT)
flash requires little to no coding knowledge.

I set my second site up using it.

akjeter - February 20, 2009 06:20 AM (GMT)
Matt helped us customizing ours, You can learn a lot about coding things, by editing already made ones. With out site Matt customized it and I learned as much as I could by trying to edit it myself, the same with skins we've made which use CSS. You don't necessarily need to go to a class, you could teach yourself a lot.

I learned a little from invision power skins as well when I had my forum. When it comes to flash what programs do I need? Just flash?

I was building databases when i was 15 and i learned completely off the internet. coding a website is something a monkey could do.
