I am in desperate need of your creative juices!

I am about to design a homepage for my basketball-team. We are a pretty good team but more importantly the best group of friends. So i really want to contribute. I am no longer the best player but pretty good in programming. But i would really need a logo for our club.

And there i am turning to you guys! PLEASE HELP ME!

I would really need a stylish logo.

OK Some facts:
Name of the team: Silverminers Schwaz Basketball
Silverminers - because our town used to be famous for Silver and Mining. Our main jersey colors are yellow and black (can be seen in the attachment!). We are from Austria / Tyrol / The Alps.

So i am thinking about a fierce miner with a basketball, or whatever, i amn really thankful for all suggestions! Our club is not rich we all do it for the good of the sport, therefore i can't pay money to get this done!

I really hope you guys can help me out! Or tell me about other forums, where i can post my plea!
