I'm sorry.

I know I should complain. I should be sorry that Sonic, once a genre that could get by without resorting to other games' gimmicks, has now come up with a lousy shooter. And I should hate that lousy bastard Shadow for ruining my childhood with his debut in SA2.

But this game does actally sound pretty cool, because it's A HEDGEHOG WITH A GUN. And not clumsily done, either. You can tell he knows how to use that sucker to kill a man in one shot. I'm not the type to go, "SHADOWOMGT3HDARKSOMAWEXOMORJAW", but it does look really cool.

And at the very least it can't be any worse than Sonic Heroes. >shudder<

I could care less about the Sonic franchise as of current generations. They've tired the series to it's breaking point and this game will not redeem it.

He has a gun, big deal.

The only Sonic that's really worth it is S3&K.

Mmm, do you mind explaining in YOUR opinion why Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles is "gay". At least then there would be some justifiable point to your post.

I myself think that all the classic Sonic's were good, 1 2 and 3&K and I liked Sonic 3D a bit too.

It felt underdone, the levels were predictable. It wasn't fun to play and the length was poor to say the best. Knuckles was not a cool character, he remains the leader of the pride march. Swinging a candy cane in similarly striped lingerie.
Mickey & Donald in the World of Illusion kicked it's red arse back to a small hobbit village where everyone is called sebastian and works as a hairdresser/pretend model.
I would take Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster's Hidden Treasure or Rocket Knight Adventures any day over such a raping of my hopes. Sonic team are exceptional but I slap them and bring forth the duel for their mistake.

Eh, I had a bad impression of Sonic. I bought SA2B and was dissapointed. The Sonic levels were fun, but too easy. The emerald searching levels were boring and occasionally frustrating, then, there were the machine levels, my B button is still sticky from that.

Then when I got the comics, before I realized how much the game sucked, I sent my subscription and I never got another comic. I HATE Sonic the Hedgehog and I never plan to play his unimaginative, boring games again.

Sonic 2 and Sonic cd have to be the best two sonic games ever!

Sonic 3 felt crowded like they were trying to do too much. same with S&K.
Not that they suck by any means. hell even sonic spiball abck in the day was fun :)

Sonic adventure was a very fun game and could have been more fun if some of the stupid charachters were not in it. the whole finding emralds bit was boring. and i hated big or whatever his name was....

SA2 had the same issue. once i no longer was sonic or shadow the game sucked.
The levels had few enemies but they were fast and fun as hell to play or watch.

There was a sonic game for the 32x that wasn't half bad. Sonic R was aweful. Sonic 3d blast should not have been made.

Give it up for sonic 2 on GG . talk about a game that was better than the system! although the final sonic gam,e (labyrinth?) for GG was boring (i still beat it)

one of these days companies will realize that gamers that grew up with the charachters want an older version catered to them. Let me see a dark sonic game where shadow kills amy and you see how much sonic liked her. start the game that was so you know its gonna be an all out slugfest. get rid of the **** digging and let knuckles be what he was always meant to be. knu8ckles --> can we say bad *** street fighter? And sure let tails be the teenager who loved amy too slap him with the gun. it fits ok.

yeah tell that to nintendo too. give us a gothic zelda with a FF7 Cloud sized sword. I'd buy that game. after 22 years of happy go lucky zelda games a dark twisted game would definately give new life. (although a link to the past did have the dark world!)

Sonic Heroes sucked, it was not as fast paced as the Battle one before it on GC. At least that has Chao garden! But Sonic Heroes was not as good as, what was it? Sonic Adventure2? the first one to come on GC was very fast paced, but Heroes mostly sucked.
