Title: Vgtunes Friendly Forum Rules Page
Description: If you love us, you'll understand...

Hi ho.

Ever since VGTune's design overhaul the forums have spiked in population. This is good, we would like word to be spread about the site and our cause. However, this is bad because as with every interactive part of the internet, there is some misconceptions to be had.

This brings me to the purpose of this thread. In order to keep a community intact, rules and/or guidelines must be put in place. Without them, there would be no purpose for a place where people can discuss things of their liking (eg: an online message board) as no real discussion would be taking place.

That's right ladies and arachnids alike, VGTunes has found that it is time to introduce some rules, rules which are in fact; more like guidelines.

Firstly, and most importantly is to cover the subject of grammar. Proper grammar. This is important because grammatical skills are a must in this world of ours, and secondly, you can use your written communications as proof of your intelligence.

Another rule is to respect others and their varied opinions on something. Do not insult them for taking a liking into something you do not. Instead, provide them with a pre-meditated and worthwhile opinion towards the subject. Any needless ranting and/or flaming over opinions will not be tolerated and those responsible will face either a warning, 24 hour suspension, or a perma-ban, depending on their overall behavior.

Also an important thing to keep in mind is to not discriminate against people due to their differences. Religious outlook, skin color, or anything else of the sort. Racism and such will not be tolerated at all. Use of this will endow you with any of the above punishments.

Topics that are pointless, wastes of carbon or have had their point proven will be closed.

Well, that about wraps this up. Be a good sport, and by following the rules, you can fully enjoy your Video Game Tunes experience.

New members may also feel free to introduce themselves here, as well as post queries on any of the above rules. Rules are subject to change without notice, so look out.

Sensible, as well as good rules to have. Nice post. Good thinking, too. ;)
